## What is Sorvelin?

Sorvelin is a quiet sensory app for iPhone and iPad.

You drag a small probe across a dark, moving wave field. Buried in the
noise are hidden resonance nodes — points where the waves stack into a
stable peak. The field does not tell you where they are. Three feedback
channels converge as you get closer: the particles align, the
oscillators bend toward unison, and the haptic grain thickens under
your finger. When all three lock, you have found one. A small bloom, a
chord, a quiet pulse. The node leaves a ghost-mark, and the hunt
continues.

There is no score. No timer. No failure state. No language. No menus
to navigate while you are in the field. Sorvelin teaches through
feedback alone.

DESIGNED WITH THE SPECTRUM IN MIND
Sorvelin was built around things often missing from sensory and casual
apps:
• No win condition, no failure state, no comparison to others
• No notifications, no advertising, no friend list, no chat
• No reading required — the field is language-agnostic by design
• Three Sensory Presets (Standard, Soft, Calm) re-tune motion,
haptics, and audio together with one tap
• Per-channel sliders if a single dimension needs to come down further

The result is a space that rewards slow attention, repetition, and
quiet focus — useful for self-regulation moments, transitions, or just
a few minutes of low-stimulation play.

THREE TIDAL REGIONS
You don't unlock content. You drift between fields of increasing
depth:
• Shallows — two generators, slow dynamics, a strong gradient
• Open Ocean — three or four generators, moderate dynamics
• The Deep — four or five generators, drifting nodes, weak gradient

BUILT ON REAL WAVE PHYSICS
• Multiple sine wave generators sampled per frame under your finger
• Resonance nodes are constructive-interference peaks discovered when
the field loads, so the field stays smooth and immediate
• Continuous Core Haptics grain on iPhone, modulated in real time
• Live AVAudioEngine oscillator bank — no recorded audio, all sample
  accurate

PRIVACY, RESPECT, SIMPLICITY
Sorvelin contains no third-party analytics SDK, no advertising, no
account system, no network code. Nothing leaves your device. The app
runs in airplane mode exactly the same as online. It is free, with no
in-app purchases and no subscriptions.

iPhone (iPhone 8 and later for haptics) and iPad. iOS 26.5 or later.

If you find Sorvelin useful — for yourself, for a child, for a
classroom — get in touch. Quiet feedback is the kind that matters.
