The app "SOS EU ALP" (formerly name "Notfall App für Tirol") reads your position (x, y coordinates) from your smartphone. In case of an emergency, this position will be used to inform the appropriate rescue coordination centre (Tyrol, South Tyrol or Bavaria). It may be used in case of an emergency where you need medical care (by air or ground), get rescued from water or mountains or need the fire brigade. In case of an emergency the activated app will start a telephone call with the emergency call center (only if the position of the smartphone is in Tyrol or South Tyrol). At the same time the collected data is sent. This makes it possible to receive help quick and efficient. Outside of the borders of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Bavaria emergencies are reported to the appropriate rescue coordination centre too. In such cases the app calls 112 but do not send any data. Zudem verschwinden die Standortangaben auch noch immer wieder mal. App hat trotz schlechtem Netz sehr gut funktioniert. Hatte sehr schnell Rückruf von der Leitstelle. Meine GPS Position wurde offensichtlich korrekt übermittelt. Heli mit Rettungsteam war nach ca. 15 Minuten vor Ort. Auch die Bergwacht war eingebunden, fragte per app locato nochmals unsere Positionen ab und war mit Tourenskiern ebenfalls erstaunlich schnell vor Ort. Vielen Dank! ### 2/5 — Fehlalarm *2020-08-03* Bekam Mitten in der Nacht einen Anruf der Rettungsleitstelle, weil die App einen Notfall meldete. Hier hat sich anscheinend die App selbstständig gemacht, ohne dass das Handy (iOS 13.5) in den Stunden zuvor angefasst wurde. Gute Idee, aber Fehlalarme sollten deutlich besser vermieden werden. ### 1/5 — APP in Bayern nicht benutzen! *2019-11-20* Wie in mehreren Bewertungen geschrieben stellt die APP keine direkte Verbindung zur Leitstelle her, sondern man landet in einem Call Center welches mit Rettungstechnischen belangen nichts zu tun hat! Das Call Center ruft dann in der zuständigen Leitstelle an und übermittelt TELEFONISCH die Koordinaten (Fehlerquelle!!) Durch dieses ganze Verfahren vergeht sehr viel Zeit und der Zugewinn durch die App ist nicht gegeben sondern ist definitiv gefährlich in einem Notfall. Tipp: besser die 112 wählen (priorisierte Leitung) und sich die angezeigten Koordinaten der App notieren. ### 4/5 — Fehlalarm? *2019-10-08* Finde die Idee sehr gut, aber muss man etwas beachten, damit man keinen Fehlalarm auslöst?
