It also needs to have a button where you can request a check in! Not hide the screen at the very bottom where you can’t see anything. The button I’m talking about is where you can request a check in from the person you’re locating. When they’re out of range and GPS isn’t working correctly. I saw the button before and now it’s gone, requesting you to check in on the name of anybody on your family list or any list? Could you please clarify on your button request? ### 4/5 — Great but need Apple Watch support *2024-03-23* I live in a rural area and police can take some time to arrive, so my neighbor and I are eachother’s immediate security. I couldn’t find another app that will call both my “guardian” and first responders, so that’s why I chose to pay for this one. However, SoSecure is missing a siren button and Apple watch support so I still need the free version of the other apps. I may not always have my phone with me, but the watch would be a lifesaver if I ever had to run to the designated “safe room area” but didn’t have my phone with me. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! It actually showed my daughter at a different location for more that 12 hours. Also, the satellite views appear to be very dated. I never really thought I would need to activate the apps panic button but tonight I did. I was out at the marina by myself just enjoying a smoke and the pretty view of downtown Jacksonville FL, and it was just me out there until this man came walking real slowly down the street towards the dock I was on. When he made it to the dock as he was walking down he was talking really weird and said “It’s your turn to die tonight, get ready, I am deaths assistant”. Obviously this made me feel super uncomfortable so as he got close enough to touch me I moved around him and kept my face turned towards him so I could see what he was doing. I had my phone in my hand and I was thinking of the SOS button on the iPhone where you click the power button three times and it plays a sirens DJ calls 911, but then I saw the SoSecure app, so I opened the app and clicked “SOS Chat” and almost instantly Ryane from ADT came on the line to assess the situation. Ryane stayed on the line with me as I kept him informed about the situation and gave him a description. Since I rode my E-bike out here I didn’t have much shelter to protect myself if I needed to, so Ryane stayed on the line until I got off of that road. Just as I was about to end the chat my bike tired went flat which obviously made me even more nervous, and Ryane stayed with me until I made it to my house safe and sound, with my exact location as I was moving, ready to send help if needed. Just can’t beat that peace of mind. I’ll definitely be paying that $9/mo after my trial expired just for the added peace of mind… this was a life saver tonight. ADT comes swinging out of the gate with a great app only to replace it with something that has none of the features it’s better product had. This app I’ve accidentally sent alerts just trying to figure out how to use. Start tracking apparently sends so many alerts. My wife alerted me and all of my family on the responder list several times when I took too long and she couldn’t get a hold of me after going to the ER. We now use find my iPhone more than this app. It’s terrible. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We are continually updating the app, so additional features will be available soon. While the family map is not currently available in the SoSecure app, we will still notify and share your location with your loved ones (“Guardians”) and 911 if there is an emergency. SOS response is now free (with chat added), providing a more discrete option to communicate with us. In the most recent update, we added a new feature (TrackMe) where you can share your location with whomever you choose so they can track you during an activity, even if they don’t have the SoSecure app. - Mazen ### 1/5 — Not cool *2020-08-16, version 2.0.1* Why did y’all take away ADT Go, that was a mistake. This app is useless, and if you really cared about your customers, with all the bad reviews, this would have changed back to ADT Go. Many Blessings ### 1/5 — What the heck??!!! *2020-07-21* I absolutely agree with others that have issues or dislike this app... it’s completely a joke... for as much as you pay for ADT shouldn’t this be free... however 2.99 is fitting because what the hell does it do. I am confused... so it’s a timer to go from A-B and if you don’t do that it alerts contacts?? Then where is my family’s location, speed (teens) anything ADTGO did... crash detection... I mean what in the world were they thinking... totally ditching this app... like someone else mentioned I absolutely would NEVER recommend this and if I could go with half or no stars I would... super disappointing!! **Developer response:** Hello. ADT should learn to not mess with success—the original ADT Go app was accurate, useful, and easy to use.
