User privacy is our top priority: individual locations are neither tracked nor shared. SOSpect enables users to notify others about potential hazards, promoting communal vigilance without compromising personal data. What's New in This Version: Restricted Alert Types for iPhone: In compliance with App Store guidelines, alert types related to criminal activities requiring local law enforcement agreements — such as 'Crime Committed,' 'Street Fight,' 'Riots or Protests,' and 'Domestic Violence' — are not available on iPhone until formal agreements with relevant authorities are in place. Account and Data Deletion: Users can delete their accounts and all associated data directly from the app (main menu → gear icon), meeting App Store requirements. Optional Push Notifications: Push notifications are now optional and can be managed anytime from app settings. Photos & Videos: Users can now attach photos and videos to their alerts as evidence, helping the community and authorities respond more effectively. Local Promotions for Businesses: Businesses of any size can now publish geolocated promotions on the map, with private in-app chat and audience reach metrics included. Local promotions — Businesses post offers on the map; nearby users receive push notifications and can chat privately with the seller inside the app. SOSpect includes a virtual currency called Powers, earned through in-app purchases or active community participation.
