## What is Sotto?

Sotto is the quiet alternative to tracking your child.

No map with a moving dot. No location history. No alerts when they leave a "zone". Instead: five buttons on their phone, and the promise that what they send is theirs to send.

HOW IT WORKS
Your child taps a button — "I've arrived safe", "I'm good — having fun", "On my way home", "Call me with an excuse", or "Come and get me" — and you know, instantly, with one map pin from that exact moment. Nothing is sent between check-ins, because nothing is collected between check-ins. There is no background location in Sotto at all. It was never built.

WHEN IT MATTERS, SOTTO DOESN'T GIVE UP
An urgent check-in that goes unanswered escalates: repeated notifications, then email, then the child's screen shows call buttons for every guardian. "Come and get me" always goes to every guardian — when a child wants out, everyone who can help gets told.

THE EXCUSE CALL, BUILT IN
"Call me with an excuse" asks you to ring with a reason to leave — the face-saving exit every parent once provided by landline. Your child picks the line; you make it true.

HONEST WITH YOUR CHILD, BY DESIGN
The child's app shows exactly what gets sent and when — the whole list, in plain words. A child who trusts the button presses it. That's the whole safety model.

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Blended families are the point: grandparents, step-parents, co-parents — each guardian receives exactly the children they look after. Waves let you ask how they're doing (three a day, and your child answers only if they want to).

FREE, MEANINGFULLY
Every safety feature is free, for every family, forever: one child, two guardians, all five check-ins, full escalation. Sotto Family adds room — more children, more guardians — for £2.49/month or £24.99/year (two months free). If it ever lapses, your family keeps working exactly as it is.

Sotto never sells data, never shows ads, and never tracks. That's not a setting. It's the product.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed through your Apple account.
