They keep trying to charge my credit card. It is not under my apple subscriptions either. They are ripping people off. Apple needs to take this app off their platform asap!!! ### 1/5 — Scam app also perpetuates pseudoscience *2026-01-15, version 1.10* It’s a scam app. I hope Apple removes it. It uses the optics of social science and human behavioural sciences to hook you, but it’s all bs. Heck you get your first clue in the ads for it, when answering the first two questions male/female, attracted to men/women. Human gender and sexuality and relationships isn’t so binary and an honest scientific examination to analysis of that would include spectrums of that. But more simply, they use this simplicity to hook you into paying a subscription and make it difficult to get out. ### 1/5 — just don’t do it *2026-01-10* when you think your just paying £1 for a simple transaction you are actually entering into a subscription of £29.99, customer services were very quick to refund so i am assuming this happens on the regular just hoping that someone won’t realise the payment and then they are constantly issuing refunds. just save yourself the hassle and don’t engage in this app in any way. **Developer response:** Looks like you have the wrong app here, We have been getting a lot of these emails by mistake. All payments for Hint Soulmate are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store ### 1/5 — SCAM *2026-01-10* DO NOT give this app any of your money at all. It's all a scam it's all fake. I did a Google reverse image search of I suppose soulmate and I found over 100 other people who got the same exact "sketch". A couple people made TikTok about it and numerous people shared pictures that they got the same exact email with the same exact person. **Developer response:** Hi there, I believe there may be some confusion. These ppl are such fraudsters, they will lure u to pay 0.50£ and then charge u £30 monthly without even telling u. ### 1/5 — Don’t get *2026-05-02, version 2.1* I decided to give it a try then after awhile I kept getting recurring charges of 29.99 don’t get it it’s a scam ### 1/5 — SCAM *2026-04-07* They take money from your account without permission ### 1/5 — Hint App Website - A SCAM *2026-03-23* I accept my problem is not actually with the developer, however like another reviewer, £29.99 was taken out of my bank account without my permission. I had already emailed customer service and requested them to cancel all payments and to delete my so-called account. I actually got a response confirming my account had been closed and no further payments would be taken. Today 22nd March a further payment was taken. I am reporting this transaction to my bank’s Fraud Team as soon as the payment has left Pending section. Also it is outrageous they allow only two days free, then start charging. My initial request to cancel was sent same day as they started charging - not enough time allowed to even get used to the app. It is therefore a scam in my book. It is NOT the fault of the Developer. I am a Pensioner and in my 70s and I don’t need this hassle from people who think they have the upper hand, but I will not tolerate liars or cheats. ### 1/5 — Abofalle *2026-03-02* Besser nicht nutzen. It charged me extra money a week after even though I unsubscribed and I was in the free trial. This is basically a scam. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-01-30, version 1.10* I cancel the trial same day and 8 days after they charged my card Cancel by email and ignored my request still trying to charging every day and there no way to get support only a stupid email that is fake don’t download this scam ### 1/5 — Unverified subscription *2026-01-25, version 1.10* I never subscribed to this but somehow I was subscribed and charged $29.99.
