## What is Sound Alert.?

Sound Alert App gives you the ability to record your environmental and home sounds to alert you in case of events which are important for you like doorbells, Telephone Ringing, Microwave beeping, Thief Alarm and Intercom.

The app able to detect any type of Smoke alarms without the need to record them, pre-installed any type of smoke alarms.

Unlike other solutions with flashing lights and expensive hardware installations, Sound Alert allows you to use the current building infrastructure and alarm systems installed and still be alerted to events even if you are unable to hear or see them. This can give you a sense of security and peace of mind. Sound Alert App is efficient when it comes to quick response, alert time, and is also very affordable . 

It's perfect for people who are hard-of-hearing, deaf, elderly, and Heavy Sleepers too.

The app uses your smartphone's microphone to constantly listen to your environment when you activate "Detection Mode".

Sound Alert can be connected to Pebble Watch, This easy-to-use app enables a fast way to be notified of all situations. The unique Sound Alert platform is able to detect a broad range of sounds with it's smart algorithm and alerts the user by vibrating their smartphone and Pebble watch, flashing your mobile’s camera light, and showing an icon image of the current event on your smartphone and Pebble watch's screen with a text note of the name of the event under the icon.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Concept is good,  have the app running on a spare phone next to my Bluetooth speaker. My computer plays an alert sound when I have to take action on something. I figured logging into the account on my main phone I would get the alert there as well. So tell me, what good is this app if it needs to be near the source of the sound for you to be alerted? I think this has great potential but needs a lot of work. Will not pay for your app until alerts can be received on multiple devices.

It locks up on me and stops “listening” when I use other apps. When that happens I have to fully close the app and reopen it every time. It’s time consuming to do that since it has to synchronize, etc. The app itself is great...when it’s on!

Good, helpful app to bridge the gap between nothing at all and a full on alerting system. 
Hopefully FitBit gets on with enabling Pebble functionality so this app is compatible with both wearable lines.
