Fall asleep faster with calming sounds that play all night, or fade out gently once you've drifted off, then wake up to birdsong. Sound Asleep has 61 sleep sounds, from soft rain and ocean waves to fans, white noise and a mother's heartbeat. 35 of them are generated live on your iPhone, so they never loop or repeat. The recorded sounds loop seamlessly, with no gaps, clicks or sudden volume jumps to wake you. WHITE, PINK, BROWN, GREEN AND GREY NOISE White noise masks snoring and street noise, pink noise is softer like steady rain, brown noise is a deep, low rumble, green noise sounds like a distant waterfall, and grey noise is balanced so every pitch sounds equally loud. A FAN FOR EVERY ROOM Box fan, ceiling fan, desk fan, air conditioner, air purifier, plus a hair dryer, vacuum and clothes dryer for little ones. MIX AND SHAPE YOUR SOUNDSCAPE Layer up to six sounds and set each one's volume. Turn up Warmth to soften a sound's bright edge, or Movement to make it rise and fall like slow breathing. Save your favorite mixes, or start with ready-made ones like Rainy Cabin, Deep Sleep and Night Train. A SLEEP TIMER THAT WORKS Choose from 15 minutes to 8 hours, or set your own length. The sound fades out gently at the end, so the silence doesn't wake you, and the timer counts down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. WAKE UP GENTLY Set a wake-up alarm with birdsong, a morning stream, a music box or wind chimes. It starts softly and rises, rings even on silent, and turning it off stops your sleep sounds too. SOUNDS FOR EVERYONE • Rain & Storms: rain, heavy rain, light rain, rain on a tent, rain on a window, thunderstorm, distant thunder • Water: ocean waves, distant surf, seashore, stream, babbling brook, mountain river, waterfall, pond, underwater, cave drips, aquarium, shower • Nature: birdsong, crickets, wind, snowstorm, wind chimes, campfire, fireplace, purring cat • Noise: white, pink, brown, green, grey and deep noise • Fans & Machines: fan, box fan, ceiling fan, desk fan, air conditioner, air purifier, extractor fan, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge hum • Travel & City: car ride, train, airplane cabin, starship engine, city, market • Baby & Comfort: womb, heartbeat, shushing, music box, ticking clock • Calm Tones: singing bowl, deep space, and delta, theta and alpha binaural beats GREAT FOR BABIES TOO Shushing, womb sounds, heartbeat and white noise are favorites for settling newborns. Try the Little One mix in the nursery. MORE THAN SLEEP Use brown noise or rain to focus while you study or work, or to unwind after a long day.
