When it connects to the X7 it is just painfully slow to navigate settings but most of the times it says it cannot detect the X7, albeit it is connected and playing sound from Spotify... I must mention the firmware on the X7 is the latest I could find on Creative’s website just last week and also the app is updated to latest release. X7 is a product with great potential, let down by poor software, what a shame really. ### 1/5 — iPhone X Update *2019-01-03, version 1.00.18* Kommt den noch ein Update für ein iPhone X raus? If Apple pays any attention to reviews they should ban all apps from this company. That’s is the nicest thing I can say about this app. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Buggy, even after 3 years *2019-03-22, version 1.00.18* It’s hard to use this app on Bluetooth. The connection keeps dropping, making extensive amp configuration hard. The interface is bloated (like many Creative software), and no one really knows what certain functions do. Worse still, the amp’s sound gets warmer over time (not a good thing); after a month or so, the sound becomes so muffled that I have to perform a hard reset. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works Just Fine for my iPhone 12 Pro Max *2024-07-28* I like this app, especially where you can isolate the vocals to it them pronounced and still be able to blend in background sounds perfectly. I’ve been using the X7 Amp with my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 600 ohm headset for the last 4+ years without any issues. Hab auch immer schön die Firmware-Upgrades auf das Gerät geladen, so lange es noch welche gab. Dennoch bricht seit 2-3 Jahre immer wieder die Bluetooth Verbindung ab, wenn ich über das Handy Musik streame. Gibt es dazu eventuell nen Trick, wie man das verbessern könnte? Außerdem zeigt mir die App während der Benutzung sehr oft an, dass das Gerät nicht verbunden wäre. Connecting to the app and navigating through the UI is slow and clunky. Adjusting settings is tedious; I would love the ability to type a number in for a setting and be able to see all your settings numerically because if you like switching between different bass or surround settings depending on gaming or music it’s hard to know exactly how you had it set up. And before you say there are save profiles they don’t do a great job of telling you which profile you’re on or which profile your modifying. I would also like to delete preset settings to reduce clutter.
