## What is Sound Finder & Noise Meter?

A "beep" somewhere in the middle of the night... where is it coming from?
Sound Finder is a small toolbox for the sound problems in a home.

[What it does]
- Source hunter: walk around with your phone and the meter gets "hotter" as you close in on the source. For tracking down a mystery sound
- Intermittent catcher: automatically measures the interval and pitch of a beep that repeats every few dozen seconds. A culprit guide narrows down the candidates (a high beep every few dozen seconds is classically a smoke alarm warning about its battery)
- Noise check: shows how loud it is now, as a rough dB figure and as a comparison such as "about like a library"
- Overnight sound log: records only the sound events while you sleep (time, strength, pitch) to look back on in the morning
- Ear age check: a bit of fun to see how high a tone you can still hear, with a nice result card

- This app is not a measuring instrument. The numbers are a rough guide shaped by your microphone
