Whenever I try to get in there’s a pop up asking if I want the free trial, which is normal. But then when you try to close the free trial pop up it opens a special offer pop up but then when you close the special offer pop up it just brings you back to the free trial pop up, which if you try to close the free trial pop up it brings you to the special offer pop up so it ends up being an infinite loop with never being able to use the app. I’m not sure if the app requires pay now, but I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to do this. ### 2/5 — Not free *2026-01-09, version 1.4* I downloaded this app to help sleep but in order to use it,it asks that I pay a $59.99 subscription fee for a year that’s almost $4,000 to pay just to have sound to help with my anxiety in the night, overall the app is good just don’t want to pay that much for noise ### 2/5 — Crashing lately *2025-12-04, version 1.2* I can’t open this app and when I do try to open it crashes and closes the app so there needs to be a update to where it doesn’t crash thank you ### 4/5 — Good *2025-04-09, version 1.0.40* When I first downloaded this app I loved it there are so many sounds, but then it turned out that it was a free trial. But when I thought all hope was lost I found a loophole basically it still lets you play your mixes just you can’t use the app anymore. I loved that I could set a timer. But was only able to get it to work once. Now it won’t load the app at all when I try to open it. I’ve tried everything to get it to work. Terrible app. ### 3/5 — Not bad *2023-01-11, version 1.0.33* There are lots of good things about Sound Machine. They have tons of sounds, stories and other helpful ways to relax. There are, however, two issues that need to be addressed. 1)the sound clip loops are too short. They should be at least long enough that your clients don’t notice them repeat. Make them at least 10 minutes in length before you loop to the beginning again. 2) after deleting and then adding back the app, every time i try to scroll through my favorites, the app crashes. So i can only access the few favorites that i can actually see on my screen. Also, please continue to add new content and include visual effects. I saw this app and notice the free trial but I forgot cancel it. I then get email alert on a +$60.00 charge for yearly subscription. It was my fault to not cancel the subscription in time but it shouldn't be set for a yearly subscription by default. In my opinion this app is a money grab. It really helped me to sleep. Unfortunately, after just a few days I could no longer access my mixes because the app required a subscription to continue. Nowhere did it say this was a subscription only app with only a few day free trial. There is no way I’m paying $60 a year/$9.99 a month/$4.99 a week for this. It’s a shame, because it had a good library and features.
