Good mix of technical, how-to, and reviews. ### 1/5 — Terrible app! Can’t Access My Subscription! *2025-12-05* This app has never been any good. Always slow to load. Now it just gets stuck on “finalizing” and never opens. I can’t even see my issues. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I’m not getting print issues anymore, so I need the digital version to work. Currently, as of October 2025, the app won’t load on my iPhone 12 or my 2020 iPad. Been a subscriber since 2004, but I can’t read issues anymore, so it’s time to move on. ### 3/5 — Annoying bug that never gets fixed *2025-01-21* I love the magazine and continue to read it using the app but if you switch to another app or take a break the SOS app returns you to the beginning of the article you were reading. It’s weird because it does actually remember where you left off but after a split second it returns you to the beginning. It feels like it’s punishing you for leaving the app. This behavior might seem minor but it significantly discourages you from wanting to use it because you know that every time you’re going to have to search to where you left off. This is a bug that has persisted for I don’t know 2 or 3 years now? I keep thinking ah, maybe this update will fix it? It never remembers where you left off reading if leaving the app for more than a minute, sending you back to the issue selection.
