I could make a list on how good this app is but it’d take absolutely ages… better than the other distribution apps that’s for sure and the support is almost INSTANT, plus it’s cheap. And has monthly pay.

Don’t Sign in with Apple tho it can be pretty buggy use your email.


Took a star off because I’m still having freezing problems, it was good for like a few hours..

I’ve been a SoundBirth user for a year but now every time I try to use the SoundBirth  app I get an error message that says “File upload by anonymous user is disabled” but I’m not trying to upload anything. It keeps trying to take me through the new user process even after I sign in. This app used to be great but if I can’t get in to use it I’ll be cancelling my subscription. Yes, I have already deleted the app and redownloaded it, same problem.

It has nothing to do with you trying to upload a file — it’s just a technical bug that can happen in very rare cases.

Unfortunately, this app doesn’t work at all. No matter how many times you tap the buttons, nothing responds. I tried restarting it, reinstalling it—still the same issue.
It’s extremely frustrating because it looks promising, but in reality, it does absolutely nothing.
You can’t interact with anything, it doesn’t load, and there’s no feedback or indication that anything is happening.
The developers should fix these bugs before putting it on the store. Not recommended until it actually works.

For next update, features should be where you have the option to have your music on blogs and get publicity online

Like have your Wikipedia created. Also,  we should be able to get help or recorded to music video directors and small venues of any music genre to book shows in our cities. Also, there should be the option to get help with album, EP or Single covers and also a section where we can lease beats of any genre or get them for free based on the subscription we have. Also there should be a feature where we can get our music videos promoted on our own YouTube channels legitimately.

Have our indie record label type app in our pockets literally.

Every Time I open the app a screen pops up saying: Boost your Music & profile right now: and there’s a button that’s says boost on it when I press the button it just perpetually loads infinitely and I can’t access the real functionality of the app it’s starting to frustrate me if you can help me out I would appreciate it

It’s really good if you want to post your first song, it’s easy and efficient, but after your song is released, it dosent let you into the app, whenever you open it, it freezes and you can’t do nothing, pls fix it

My biggest issue wasn’t that releases were rejected. My issue was that I never received clear explanations for why they were being rejected. I continued resubmitting releases because the feedback I received focused on things like artwork quality and logos. Only after requesting a refund was I told there were completely different compliance concerns.

What makes this even more confusing is that SoundBirth previously approved and distributed one of my releases. That same release later had serious audio quality issues compared to my original masters, so I removed it myself. If the content was always prohibited, I don’t understand why it was approved and distributed in the first place.

I also paid for additional services through the platform and received positive feedback about my music, so the sudden claim that my account was engaging in “abusive behaviour” came as a surprise.

My experience was inconsistent communication, unclear rejection reasons, and a lot of money and time spent trying to understand why releases weren’t going through.

I can’t recommend the service based on my experience.

During our support chats, you sent insults and extremely offensive messages, something we’ve never seen before. No artist has ever spoken to us like that.
This behavior is unacceptable.
Our team works professionally and respectfully with every artist. We do not tolerate abusive behavior.

If a technical issue occurred, we investigate and fix it when reported properly. Public claims of fraud or criminal activity without evidence are serious and false.

Thousands of artists use SoundBirth every day to build their careers professionally. We take our work seriously, deliver our services, and act with integrity.

Do not waste yo time with this app you will be frustrated and angry you spent any money with these people. Their curators are trash you can find way better curators yourself and they allow people to copy and paste the same response when they give you feedback which makes me doubt if they even make these people listen to the songs you’re sending in. Trust me I did you a favor by actually giving it a chance.

Now they’re all about subscription tiers. Where they were once accessible, now you have to pay a certain amount to even get to any of them. They never did much beyond o e or two genres to help the artist and now they’re even worse. I was a premium member who, for a time, could reach out to a human anytime. Now that tier doesn’t even offer that.  It’s not about the music/artist anymore. Maybe it never was.

I can’t give a full review so I’ll update this review when my single comes out (no shameless promotion in the review).

Making a release is super simple, you get two free releases which I think is great.

I bought the premium max plan and I’m waiting for the artist profile to be created so the single can be released, and the it’s expected to be in November 28th, so about 15 days. 

SoundBirth can get a release out in 10 days, if you’re using the free version it can take about 40 days.. But no music distinction is free.

Honestly the best app I’ve stumbled upon, every other distribution app has been horrible. To the point of only allowing annual pay, Too Lost forcing you to give an ID verification to make a release.. But this app doesn’t do that.

But why 4 stars? Because there’s downsides.

IT. IS. BUGGY.

Please devs, fix this app it’s so good.. 

It freezes almost constantly, upon opening the app it instantly freezes and you have to wait for it to UNFREEZE. That is frustrating when you want to check things.

It slowly SLOWLY loads up things and that can be frustrating.

Fix those bugs and this can be bigger than DistroKid, plus it’s CHEAPER.

SoundBirth est une très bonne application avec des services vraiment intéressants pour les musiciens indépendants. L’équipe est à l’écoute et suit de près les actualités et les sorties qu’on envoie via l’appli. Ils peuvent même mettre en avant votre musique dans leur « Discovery Section Highlights » ou d’autres sections s’ils apprécient la track.
