## What is SoundFind?

SoundFind is word search with a twist: in Audio Challenge you hear the word and have to find how it's spelled.

FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
• Standard: classic word search with the word list in view.
• Audio Challenge: tap the speaker to hear the word, then find its spelling. The list stays hidden until you find each word. Tricky words come with a spoken example sentence.
• Anagram Hunt: the words are scrambled. Unscramble them, then find them.
• Word Association: find each word from a hand-written clue.
• Mystery Word: find every word, and the letters left over spell a hidden word.

PLENTY TO FIND
• More than 1,600 words, including 14 themes from animals and space to mythology and emotions, plus a Random mix.
• Audio Challenge has its own spelling sets: silent letters, homophones, -OUGH words, double letters, commonly misspelled words, -ISE or -IZE, and -OUR or -OR, plus a Tricky Mix of them all.
• Five levels, from an 8×8 grid with 6 words up to Master: a 15×15 grid with 25 words.

TWO REAL VOICES
Every word is recorded in two Australian voices, one female and one male. Pick your favourite in Settings.

DAILY CHALLENGE
A different challenge every day, with a new theme, mode and level, and a time limit sized to the puzzle. Finish it to earn free hints and build your streak.

PLAY ANYWHERE
Every mode, every level and all the audio work offline.

HINTS
You start with 12 free hints. Earn more from the Daily Challenge or by watching a short ad, or buy a hint pack.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
No sign-up and no sign-in. Your progress is saved on your device.

SoundFind is free to play and shows ads between some games. The ads are non-personalised and set for a general audience. A one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off the between-game ads.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-18

What's New in Version 1.0.2

This update fixes several issues discovered after launch on iPhone:

  - Voice audio restored — Australian voices (Hannah and Neil) now play
correctly. A previous build caused the app to fall back to the device's
  robotic built-in voice instead.
  - Bonus word entry redesigned — Instead of typing the mystery bonus word with
the keyboard (which was covering the grid), you now tap the highlighted tiles
on the board in sequence. Much easier and more satisfying to use.
  - Content no longer hidden behind the Dynamic Island or status bar — All
screens now display fully on iPhone 15 Pro and later models.
  - Unwanted scrolling fixed — The home screen no longer scrolls on larger
iPhones, and the page-turn scroll flash when navigating between screens is
  gone.
  - Screen animations smoother — Removed a stagger delay on the game mode and
category screens that caused a visible flash when they first appeared.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-17
