Constant searches with unfounded results. Have had this app for years, but only works part of the time and then just sits on my phone not being used. Whoever, whatever, or how ever this app needs to be improved needs to be done, never produces search results, always shows no results found and that’s with songs from the radio with clear sound. ~Not a happy user~ ### 4/5 — Inferior to Encore *2026-05-24, version 10.3.4* While this app is without doubt, inferior to Encore as far as recognition goes, it does have some redeeming qualities, one of which is playlists. Head to head with Encore, this app is bested by Encore on virtually every other feature. Encore has better recognition, faster, and considerably fewer dropped connections. But the playlists option is Soundhounds redemption in that you can load up your playlist, pop on your headphones, and listen to full songs, full playlist. That s ridiculous ### 1/5 — Obsolete *2026-07-31, version 10.4* SoundHound used to be great. It was the only app you could sing or hum and believe it or not it would identify songs like magic. However, apparently they couldn't keep up and slowly faded into irrelevance. The app is slow, buggy, and I can’t remember the last time it identified a song from humming. Open on Apple music? Sometimes works. Open on YouTube? On occasion works… I guess if you got a beef with Shazam you could in a pinch use it, but the fact is that after Apple acquired Shazam and made it native to iOS there is no real reason for SoundHound to exist. ### 1/5 — Не работает! *2026-07-11, version 10.3.6* Ничего не определяет.
