### 4/5 — No longer works?

*2026-03-25*

The app’s creative approach to exercises kept me coming back daily for more…until it stopped working for me. As of March 13, 2026, I can’t get past the loading screen, even after a full uninstall, reinstall, reboot, logout and login. I’ve tried reaching out to the app author, to no avail. If it’s still working for anyone else, I’d love to know.

### 3/5 — Details!

*2024-07-21*

I like the concept of this app a lot, and after using it for five weeks so far the therapy seems promising. But there are numerous seemingly easy fixes that should be made: the descriptions of the daily exercises don’t always match the game play; the number of points required to reach the goal doesn’t always match the number displayed. The microphone should turn off during the exercises where you’re not vocalizing (not all of us live in quiet environments). There should be a way to look up the descriptions of the exercises when they cycle back. The syllable prompts should change to the actual syllables you’re being asked to produce. Looking forward to recommending version 4!

### 4/5 — Flawed but works

*2022-06-14*

I’ve been playing this for years now and my wife definitely knows if I’ve played or not. The game is buggy and annoying but gets the job done. My record is level 207 I’m pretty sure.

### 2/5 — Slow to respond at times

*2021-03-12, version 1.32*

Sometimes the app is confused between knee and naw and it's extremely frustrating. Should be better calibrated.

### 2/5 — Bugs I want to point out.

*2020-10-21*

On my iPhone XR, multitask mode always crashes the app after a short amount of time.

There isn’t any sound in the main mode of the game and I have silent mode off and the volume turned up on my iPhone.

### 4/5 — Good exercise freezes sometimes

*2020-07-31*

This seems like it should be fruitful.
It is frustrating when the character freezes or doesn’t respond. Hard to know if it is my enunciation or the app. Will see if it works

### 2/5 — App not launching

*2020-07-20, version 1.29*

On both my ipad and iphone.

### 1/5 — I don’t normally like doing this

*2020-01-28*

The app is actually good but I’m giving a one star review because there’s a serious bug where once you unlock all the characters you can’t do the multitask mode anymore. The author of the app never responds to support requests so I’m forced to give 1 star because I’m paying for an app I can’t use and I’m not receiving any support.

### 2/5 — App is broken

*2020-01-19, version 1.24*

Have been using app and was great now broken and support is very slow with no advice on how to get app back working again

### 1/5 — Careful!

*2020-01-18, version 1.24*

Ended up with an annual subscription after a few days with no option for a refund, careful when you sign up that you select the right option. The free trial option is combined with an annual subscription.

Sneaky!

### 1/5 — Good idea, horrible cost!

*2019-11-20*

Good idea backed by research and a nice motivational tracker to help you stick with the program... but $30 per year to track how many “knee/naws” I say daily? Plenty of more comprehensive and complex healthy and lifestyle apps are so much less. Even the hidden lowest cost of $18/year is too much! And why do I need a friggin LOGIN for this? C’mon - if you are doing this as part of the UofM health study, then you can pay ME for my data!

App should be a stand-alone, one time unlock for maybe $5 with IAP and NO LOGIN!

### 1/5 — Scam app

*2019-09-30, version 1.24*

Should not be listed as a free app as it requires you to start a “trail” with you payment information on file to force 30 bucks on you later

### 2/5 — The game itself is Absolute garbage..I hate this app

*2019-09-16*

The idea of working out your tongue and throat is great and seems to be working. I am not snoring near as much as I was. But the game itself is garbage. The characters only respond to naw or ahhhh, but not to knee. It does better with HHEEE...or neeet, or needin...but even then will lock up and just not move. It’s very frustrating not to ever be able to get past level 1. And I am exaggerating the knee. And my family sure knows I’m saying knee cuz they hear me all over the house. I’m giving a 2 because it is helping but the game doesn’t work and deserves a zero.

### 1/5 — Not working anymore

*2019-09-15*

This app was working fine, perhaps was improving my snoring but too early to tell, then this last week it shuts off when I have played for 35 seconds. All the time. I've rebooted, not sure what else to do. I've paid for it, can't figure out how to contact the seller, need this fixed or my money back!

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2019-08-04, version 1.23*

I subscribed to the free 7-day trial period, and cancelled after a couple days. Then I was charged $30 at the end of the 7-day period, even though my subscription is cancelled.

Apple says I’m not eligible for a refund. I don’t know what happened here, but I’ve been scammed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Details!

*2024-08-01, version 3.0*

This app is apparently no longer active; it’s gets stuck on the loading screen. An email to the developers got no response.

### 1/5 — This is a scam

*2021-01-28, version 1.32*

These exercises are not empirically supported and this service which costs 30$ annually is really hard to discontinue. Avoid at all costs!!!

### 1/5 — Knee-crash, Naw-crash!

*2021-01-14, version 1.31*

Love the concept, but it is crashing right now on multitasking mode every 20-30 knee-naws.

How am I meant to do hundreds of these things when it crashes every 20 times? Infuriating!

Sometimes I get 100 without a crash and I feel fortunate!

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2020-09-17, version 1.30*

Yet another app that gets all your personal data, name DOB and email, then springs the “free trial” subscription mode. Worst mistake Apple ever made was introducing this. It allows companies like this one to build useless apps then tie you in for a trial. That you will forget about, until that big first month payment comes out.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2020-09-17, version 1.30*

I understand Apple needing to make money but please make it clear before download and account creation and stuff that it’s a paid app with a subscription. The app has ZERO Utility until the annual subscription is purchased.

### 1/5 — Won’t work with version 12.2

*2020-07-29, version 1.29*

App crashes with software version 12.2

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2020-07-24, version 1.29*

Doesn’t seem to like my nees and naws . Character kept freezing. Got to level 25 and couldn’t hardly get it to budge at all

### 1/5 — Stopped working after 1 month.

*2020-07-13, version 1.28*

Wouldn’t open properly after 1 month of use. Support suggested deleting and reloading. still not working. Like another review I would like a refund for the months I cannot even access the app.

### 1/5 — Ap failed after two months use

*2020-07-11, version 1.28*

I thought I was getting a trial but ended up paying £29 for a year. That was fine as it did seem to be making a difference to my snoring and a fun game too, but after 2 months the Ap no longer loads. Support said they had a new Ap build, said I should re-install. Still can’t open Ap. My iphone version supports the Ap. I’d like a refund on the 10 months I now cant use or more support

### 1/5 — Deceptive, not free

*2020-04-16, version 1.24*

The only thing you can do for free is register for a paid subscription.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Loading, loading…

*2026-05-02*

It’s a super helpful app to help with snoring but it’s in perpetual loading mode so it doesn’t work.

### 5/5 — This works!

*2022-07-10, version 2.0*

It took me a while to take this seriously but it persistently worked when I did it for even a few days in a raw. I am an evangelist for this app now amongst my friends. I am trying to just 'knee knaw' regularly without paying for the app but there is just something about playing a game especially that one can feel quite silly if not distracted by something else while doing these workouts. So I will probably end up just paying for it. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great alternative to CPAP

*2021-08-26, version 1.32*

Makes sense, just starting

### 5/5 — How Funny!!! 🤣

*2020-08-16, version 1.29*

Wow..... I really hope this works as it’s got to be the funniest happiest most wonderful app invented..... I am feeling crazy to say this but I used it once and I actually felt like the muscles in my throat had had a workout. So I will continue and see if this could be the solution for me. I hope so. Wow I am just imagining that this could be prescribed on the NHS.... love it!

### 5/5 — So much fun!

*2019-07-18, version 1.22*

I love a great game, and double bonus that it helps with sleep apnea! But be warned - it IS addictive!

### 5/5 — Snoring reduced

*2019-06-17*

I have been faithful in my daily exercise and have reduced snoring to mild ... most nights are under 5 minutes.

### 5/5 — Really works

*2019-04-03*

This app greatly reduced my snoring, to the point where it no longer bothers my spouse. I have found that I have to keep using it to avoid lapsing back into my old habits - a fact that, while annoying, provides further evidence of its efficacy. I also suspect that it reduces my (mild) sleep apnea, improving quality of sleep and mental acuity. Quite amazing...

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2019-02-03, version 1.10*

I’ve used this app for only a couple of nights in conjunction with a snore recorder that I’ve used consistently for a couple of months.

Incredibly, my snoring has reduced drastically already - I’m super impressed with this and can’t wait to see the long-term results.

The game itself is really fun and I actually look forward to playing it.

Well done for creating such an innovative and effective anti-snoring tool.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2018-10-27, version 1.10*

I’m so glad to not need a CPAP machine to help me stop snoring! Thanks!

### 5/5 — Fun and seems helpful.

*2018-10-16*

After many months, I still find it fun and entertaining. There is plenty of variety to the game. My snoring is less frequent and not as loud. I do not have any way to be certain but it feels helpful. I have not had surgery or made any other structural or specific environmental changes.
