Now though, the developers have ruined it for me with really long, often creepy AI-generated adds when I save things—and an expensive subscription model to make them go away. Nope. The voice-note app world is far too crowded with comparable alternatives to give in to that kind of extortion. I’d be willing to pay a reasonable amount upfront to keep using it, but not a monthly or yearly fee. Very useful for actors memorizing lines as most apps don’t let you do this. There’s a bug that just doesn’t loop. Very frustrating. Also you can’t scrub easily on your recording. And just end up having to skip backwards by 5 seconds to start it again. Very clunky experience and has bugs.
