### 1/5 — Joke

*2016-02-16*

Doesn't work , I placed it with a stethoscope. So yeah, I should know

### 1/5 — Pathetic - does not work!

*2012-05-10*

Despite trying about 20 times I was unable to get a reading (yes I know where the microphone is). It seems to animate the heart in time with my beat, but every time it comes back zero. You're better off just taking your pulse ( and it's more accurate).

### 1/5 — Crap

*2012-05-04*

Absolute crap!

### 1/5 — correct 2 out of 10 times?

*2012-05-03*

No way you could ever rely on this. A novelty at best. I checked my pulse and was about 90bpm. Using this app, it ranged from 30 to 140 and of course recorded a few 0s too.

### 1/5 — just wont work

*2012-04-27*

i tried and followed all the steps, and the app just never works. kept getting 0.

### 1/5 — doesnt work

*2012-04-26*

i keep getting 0, and i know im alive so i must hav a heartbeat lol

### 1/5 — Useless!

*2012-04-26*

I tried this about 10 times and it never read anything back. Either I don't have a pulse or this app was not tested before its release. Lol.

### 1/5 — It never works

*2012-04-25*

Weird

### 1/5 — Never worked.

*2012-04-16*

I was not able to get it to work.

### 1/5 — Never worked

*2012-04-07*

Must have tried it 30 times. Same with spouse. Followed directions thoroughly. It never worked; always an error. Was this ever tested?

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Dead-On Accurate EVERY TIME

*2012-06-08*

I tested this APP and (just noticed Warren A's comment/review afterward) that you must place the microphone (IT'S ON THE BOTTOM OF THE iPHONE ... DOH) against your chest.

I bet if you do that, it WILL work. I did it just using common sense and then had my wife (and she's an experienced Cardiologist) check my pulse in blind tests.

Each time we were either EXACT Or the deviation was one beat off per minute!!

That's incredible! So - if you made the mistake of laying the iPhone down? Of course it will not work!! I also found just laying one firm fingertip on the top to be the best pressure level for me.

Good luck to those who DON'T read the directions carefully. (even though that's kind of a scary lack of logical thought those of you lay-downer's used).

"Dr. Wifey" was skeptical herself, but she was proven wrong every time. It DOES work.

### 5/5 — Here's a hint. . .

*2012-04-26*

Make sure the BOTTOM of your iPhone is touching your chest. That's the end with the microphone. UNMUTED and in a quiet area. Just like as if you are in the doctors office. Works for me every time. . .

### 5/5 — Works great

*2012-04-25*

After using this I got a clean accurate result. Double checked it. I love this app.

### 4/5 — Pretty good :)

*2014-04-15*

I put the gone to the floor to see if it would "detect" a hb but it keept saying 0 so i used it on my self and got a good reading

### 2/5 — Good idea, bad execution.

*2012-04-26*

I can't get a reliable result.
