What a bummer! ### 1/5 — Can’t Even Get Started *2023-10-05* Can’t get started.. no quiet place for a test. ### 1/5 — Negative experience. *2022-01-06* I’m unable to have conversations with this app. All conversations are muted by noise cancelling mode. I do not want to continue the app after the trial period. Very disappointed with SoundsGood! Results. ### 1/5 — Delay *2021-12-31* The app is good but there is an almost 1 second time delay before you hear the sounds. If you read lips it will drive you nuts because what you hear is not synced with what you see. If this could be corrected I would recommend it to anyone with a hearing loss. Time delay can happen depending on the kind of headphones you use. We recommend using AirPods Pro in noise cancelling mode or wired earphones.  The delay you are describing seems to be much longer that anything we have ever encountered and we would be glad to check your config (which Iphone/IOS and headphones). Picks up your voice and amplifies it very loud, annoying . ### 2/5 — No good! *2021-02-15* I really wanted this to work. But it’s just not practical. It did enable me to hear conversations better but if I had anything to say it was very loud in my ear pod plus there was a delay which made it difficult to speak a coherent sentence. I was also hoping it would help me hear the TV better but from across the room it sounded too scratchy and unclear. **Developer response:** Dear Noa-Grace, Thank you very much for your feedback and we are very sorry that you did not have full satisfaction with the product. The delay is unfortunately linked to the Bluetooth technology. If you were to use wired earphones the delay would disappear. This being said you can use the “disable mic” button when you speak to avoid the inconvenience. We are working on a more advanced solution that would automatically disable the microphone when you speak. Please bear with us, we are working on improving the app. When watching TV did you place you phone close to the TV or the speaker? We usually have good results in that space. Being able to hear better especially in crowded situations has allowed me to enjoy going out again. The guided tutorials are very helpful and the app it’s self is very intuitive to use.
