Get your party started using your Philips Hue lights. Watch your lights pulse and flash to your favorite songs.* *Hue Bridge or Hue Bridge Pro required MODES • Music Visualizer — Lights change colors to the music (Microphone access required) • Strobe — Lights change colors in a flash randomly • Color Loop — Lights change colors simultaneously • Color Flow — Lights change colors sequentially • Playlist — Each mode plays for a random duration THEMES Choose from one of the predefined themes or create your own on the Themes tab. Each mode uses the colors in the selected theme. To edit a user theme in the list, swipe the item to the left and tap the pencil icon. You can reorder colors for the Color Loop mode. For more advanced features, you can turn on Detect Frequencies on the Settings screen under Music Visualizer. For each frequency range (Bass, Mid, Treble), you can change the FX Targets, Transition FX, and Theme. Create your own themes on the Themes tab. Thanks! ### 2/5 — Real shame *2019-01-05* I would love to say that this is much better it has the potential to be the best music app but unfortunately it's way too sensetive and makes your lights blink like mad when you aren't playing a song. Either through your phone or your echo I have the same problem. If improvements were made it'd be much better. Also the settings are a little confusing they need simplifying. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Please try adjusting the Volume Trigger under Settings to prevent background noise from interfering. After starting the Music Visualizer, and without any music playing, move the slider handle to the right just far enough so that the effects do not trigger. I hope to see in future versions more option to choose from for Transition FX! Although there is a buck when creating a custom theme, it is impossible to return to the settings for frequencies for the music visualizer. I have to delete the app and install new every time this happens. **Developer response:** The latest release (1.2.5) fixed the User Themes bug. The lights should change to match the music from my phone. With this app: 1 cannot have the music play from a connected BT speaker, only from the phone speaker 2 when this mode is activated, the speaker on the phone drops to a barely audible level.
