I first downloaded Soundstorming because it lets me record my random melodies or chord progressions easier and more organized than voice memos. Also the fact that I can loop sounds and record layers! (So can do chord progressions and solos over them, etc). And I really like the social feature where I can post my songs and people on the app can ‘collaborate’ with me and add in vocals, drums, piano, whatever really. I'm also the kind of person that never backups her phone, so the fact that SoundStorming allows me to add hashtags to organize my ideas and save them in the Cloud, is amazing. I feel, outside of this great idea, protection wise on behalf of all creatives, there should be some form of split agreement section that the original publisher can mark up for added creatives. Or do you always forget different parts of songs you just wrote because of a lack of organization? As a musician, that’s what I do. Ok glad SoundStorming has made it easy for me to store my ideas, whether I want them public or private, in a creative space that helps me be organized. I can always ask for help from fellow musicians which is great too! I have loved digging into other artists music, and have been able to connect and collaborate with them.
