SoundSwap is a music exchange app built around one simple idea: you send a song, someone sends one back — and neither of you sees the other's pick until you both reveal.

How it works: Pick a song. Write a note about why you chose it. Submit it into the pool. You'll be matched with another SoundSwap user who did the same. Both of you unlock your matches at the same time — blind until then.

I cannot recommend it enough, this is a great idea. I have been using SoundSwap for a few weeks and I love it. Getting music recommendations from people, not bots, algorithms, and AI is so refreshing and fun, and I like that you can send little messages with the song. It is super interesting to get to hear why people like the song or what it means to them in their own words. Even the whole UI and color scheme of the app is cool.
