There is a real effort on the design of the sounds and we take pleasure in improving our practice thanks to the explanations which guide us. Soundworks is the best way for me to enjoy my own personal meditation with a little boost that keeps it fresh and engaging. Creates a space for re-balancing of sympathetic and parasympathetic activation and due to using different sound compositions day by day it invokes curiosity which makes change easier. Very easy and intuitive to use. I can see working with this personally and professionally. This feels like a platform to inspire great creativity in makers and listeners alike. ### 5/5 — TRULY THE best meditation app!! *2023-07-17, version 1.5.0* Sound is just the best way to enter a meditative space in a shorter amount of time. ### 5/5 — Works extremely well for people with racing thoughts and have tried other apps *2023-01-27, version 1.4.8* I’ve tried guided meditations through apps like Headspace, waking up, one percent, and insight timer and the lengthy quiet moments between instructions were breeding grounds for a thought snowball to roll out of control. With Soundworks and some noise canceling headphones, I’m able to focus a lot more on the different sound textures and patterns which really helps keep those random thoughts from popping in my head. The daily sounds can be hit or miss but I’d say about 85% are pretty good. Initially I used the sounds to help me fall asleep and was so astounded by how smoothly it worked, not only on me but on my partner and cat too. I had been looking for sounds that aren’t the traditional ones (rain, forest, ocean waves etc.) and this one delivered on the assignment! Great job.
