## What is Source to Sea?

Embark on a virtual expedition down the Nile River, powered by your real rowing and paddling workouts. Journey approximately 3,400 miles (5,500 km) from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea, unlocking historic landmarks, earning achievements, and watching your boat travel downstream with every workout.

YOUR EXPEDITION

Row, kayak, canoe, or paddle a SUP—on the water or on an indoor rowing machine (erg). Sync your distance automatically from Apple Health, or log it manually. Every metre moves your boat further downstream, bringing you closer to your next landmark and the Mediterranean Sea.

EXPLORE THE NILE

Travel through real locations including Murchison Falls, the Sudd Wetlands, Khartoum, the Nubian Desert, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Giza, Cairo, and the Nile Delta. Unlock each landmark as you arrive, discover its history, and relive your progress anytime from the Journey tab.

EARN ACHIEVEMENTS

Unlock over 140 achievements for distance milestones, streaks, perfect weeks and months, pace, calories, and more. Track your progress with a clean dashboard, detailed statistics, and meaningful milestones throughout your expedition.

COMPETE WITH OTHERS

Climb weekly and all-time leaderboards, filter by sport, or compare yourself on the Verified leaderboard using only workouts synced from Apple Health.

SHARE YOUR JOURNEY

Celebrate your progress with beautifully designed share cards featuring your latest achievements, landmark discoveries, and expedition milestones—perfect for Stories, messaging apps, and social media.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL

Sign in securely with Apple. Reset your progress or permanently delete your account and data at any time. Health data is read-only and is never used for advertising.

Source to Sea: The Nile is the first in a planned series of virtual river expeditions. Begin your first expedition today—with many more rivers still to come.
