### 5/5 — What a gem of an app

*2026-02-13, version 1.8.0*

Thanks for making this and sharing it with us for free!

### 5/5 — Bug

*2026-01-26*

Love the app, I think I ran into a bug. When importing from other apps, if I changed my mind and want to delete the recipe after saving it. The option for deleting is not there. I do not get that issue when creating the recipe myself.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing this! Based on your feedback, I’ve made a small design update to make removing imported recipes more intuitive. You can now delete a recipe by tapping the trash icon in the top header. I hope this feels clearer!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-09-15, version 1.6.7*

Note sure how to organize my recipes (specifically the ones I made/edited myself) but regardless this app is wonderful!

### 5/5 — Thank You

*2025-04-01*

This is one of the most creative app ideas I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried another recipe collector app but you had to pay for it, so I deleted it after a day. And the video upload feature is amazing

### 5/5 — Best recipe keeping app!

*2025-03-02*

The app allows you to extract recipes from websites and applications so easily. On top of that it allows you to adjust serving size AND the units for the recipe. Great app!

### 5/5 — Best Cooking App Ever! SO ORGANIZED

*2025-03-02*

I love this app so much! I didn’t enjoy cooking before as I was overwhelmed with finding recipes off TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram and forgetting where I saved them. This app makes it perfect to reference each recipe, making cooking so much easier.

### 5/5 — The best “FREE” recipe app

*2024-10-15*

This is by far the best recipe app and for the simplest feature. You get it all for free! Import from the web in a matter of seconds (or from YouTube a bonus feature!! Hopefully instagram or TikTok support soon but not even needed) this app saves all your receipts in a really clean simple layout that make cooking so simple and easy that I want to import my whole family cookbook into this app. I haven’t found an app that does half of what this app allows you to do for free anywhere it’s truly amazing!

To the developer/s I strongly suggest you add a lifetime upgrade option if you do add TikTok or instagram recipe imports and/or other new ai features as you deserve some revenue for how much you are giving away for free as of now. Much appreciation for all that has gone into this app I love to use it and don’t plan on switching to any other app for my recipes

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2024-10-09, version 1.3.1*

Very useful! I use it especially when I travel, is like shazam but for food recipes.

### 5/5 — Must have for cooking.

*2024-09-26, version 1.3.1*

This is an all in one app designed to give you the easiest experience cooking. I usually cook for 3 which is an odd number, but the servings feature has been so helpful. Not only that but skipping all the ads and little stories (sorry) makes reading recipes so much easier. I really love this app!

### 5/5 — Best help for cooking

*2024-09-26, version 1.3.1*

this app offers the best possible help for cooking I love it

### 5/5 — The Cadillac of cooking apps

*2024-08-13*

A carefully considered and well executed idea for an app. Really does make cooking easier, and as a bonus allows you keep all of your recipes in one place.

### 1/5 — So buggy

*2026-02-23*

Hi this seems like a great concept but very poorly executed. I tried adding a recipe from a blog or nytimescooking site and the process is not user-friendly. It was unclear on how to add to a collection and once added to a collection, the collection doesn’t even show the recipe. It says 0 recipes! Sorry… from one dev to another please fix the bugs—this app could be really great

**Developer response:** Hi - thank you for the feedback, and I’m really sorry you had that experience... The collection issue you mentioned was a bug indeed, and it’s been fixed in the latest release (v1.8.3) - thank you for reporting. I’d appreciate it if you’re open to giving it another try...!!

I also agree that the recipe import flow isn’t intuitive for first-time users. I’m currently redesigning the onboarding and welcome flow to make adding and organizing recipes much more intuitive. If you’re open to sharing more feedback, I’d genuinely love to hear it - shoot me an email team@nekonote.co

### 3/5 — It’s free so no complaints

*2026-02-02, version 1.7.2*

To save recipes from Insta often requires two tries. First try will say unsuccessful but will actually upload the second time, caution, ignor the “your recipe is ready!” words, It is not Must click “view recipe” button. You will see your recipe photo and recipe do not navigate away you must click “save” to actually save the recipe. The option to add to a category would be helpful if navigation was easier.

### 3/5 — Thought this was going to be great.

*2025-08-29*

I read about the App and thought it was what I was looking for. However it will not download from REELS.
I GUESSill keep looking.

**Developer response:** We currently support Instagram Reels that include recipes — either in the caption or in the audio. Facebook Reels aren’t supported yet, so that might be why it didn’t work for you. We’re actively working on expanding support (including Facebook), and we hope you’ll give Souschef another try soon!

### 4/5 — Love UI, Needs Ratings

*2026-08-24*

I just started using this app. I love the UI and really appreciate that it’s free. I don’t want to pay for an app to just hold a list of my recipes. The one thing that I am missing right now is the ability to rate a recipe after I try it. I’m getting around it with tags, but having a separate rating capability would be a plus for me!

### 4/5 — Add Edit button and upload picture option

*2025-03-29, version 1.5.1*

Please make it available to edit recipes after importing them to make modifications after setting it up and add a gallery upload option half the recipes I find on TikTok are pictures

### 5/5 — Love it, would gladly pay for an ad free version

*2026-08-04*

One of the few apps I’d actually pay for, I use it for work to keep my Recipies organized. There’s not a lot of ads only when importing Recipies but I’d gladly pay for no ads as long as it was a one time fee and not a subscription

### 5/5 — BRILLIANT!

*2026-07-19, version 2.0.2*

Cannot express in words how amazingly perfect this app is and it’s free! The fact you can import recipes and customise/adjust it and then also be able to see the original to compare is a stroke of genius. Truly brilliant mind behind this app its like everything has been thought of. Another feature I love is the fact you can put how you want the ingredients cut/prepared and then it shows on a list with step-by-step and tick box. Trust me download this app! you will never regret it and it will make you feel like a chef! :)

### 5/5 — This app is amazing

*2026-07-16, version 2.0.2*

Can we donate to you anywhere? I can’t believe this app is free. So good and works for the majority of recipe websites.

### 5/5 — Request

*2026-07-13, version 2.0.2*

I really enjoy using this app. It's very easy and helpful, but I've noticed recently you guys added new feature for calculating calories and it's used automatically with AI. I think it would be better if it was an optical feature like time and servings. It's really unfortunate that I have to manually put "0 calories" on every recipe now, because 1. I don't like the use of AI. 2. I do not want to see amount of calories in my food, I don't think it's healthy for some people like me, if they have problems with food. So please consider to make this small change, I'm sure a lot of your users will appreciate it. And also thank you for creating this app to make people's lives easier

### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-07-05*

This is such a helpful app. I can literally just copy the recipe link (from social media or anywhere online) and everything populates as a regular recipe without all the annoying ads and stuff.
Would highly recommend this app.

I’m new to app but I am absolutely loving it!!!

### 5/5 — Keeping recipes together

*2026-06-10, version 2.0.1*

Love this app and even better it’s free! I was using multiple apps for saving recipes and could never find the ones I wanted, Souschef keeps them in the one app and I can find the exact recipe every time.

### 5/5 — Better than premium apps

*2026-05-04, version 1.8.5*

Amazing how much this can do without, can extract recipes from sites and videos and looks great! Better than some of these paid apps and has fair ad system if you import videos. Love this, would love to have a copy and paste import next developer!

### 5/5 — The review that might save you more app browsing

*2026-04-18*

Free, clean, easy to use, and everything I was looking for and didn’t know I needed. Thank you for making this app. I’m creating my own recipes and mixing them with others I’ve been dying to make after importing them from online and already making shopping lists. So glad I stumbled on this! Big money and time saver right here.

### 5/5 — This app is amazing

*2026-04-02, version 1.8.5*
