## What is Sovereign Logos Complete Bible?

I added one new section, "DAILY VERSE & PRAYER," right after the Daily Reading Plan. Everything else is unchanged (six Bibles, Enoch, restoration, etc. all still accurate).

Sovereign Logos restores the Bible the apostles read.

For three centuries after Christ, the Church read the Septuagint — the Greek Old Testament quoted throughout the New. Sovereign Logos brings that text back into your hands, alongside the King James Version, in a reader built for serious daily study.

— SIX ENGLISH BIBLES, SIDE BY SIDE —
• Septuagint 2012 (modern English LXX)
• Brenton's Septuagint (1851 LXX)
• King James Version (1611)
• 1599 Geneva Bible (the study Bible of the Reformation)
• World English Bible (a modern public-domain translation)
• 1560 Geneva Apocrypha (the Deuterocanonical / Apocrypha books)

Compare any verse across them with a single tap. See exactly where the Hebrew Masoretic Text removed words the apostles read.

— TAP A NAME, SEE THE FAMILIAR FORM —
The older Septuagint editions spell many names the old way — "Achaab", "Esaias", "Nabuchodonosor". Tap one and a small card shows the name you already know: Ahab, Isaiah, Nebuchadnezzar. Over 600 names are mapped, so the ancient text never leaves you guessing.

— DAILY READING PLAN —
A four-section daily reading covering the entire Bible: Old Testament, Psalm, Proverb, New Testament. Audio for every chapter, in a clear masculine voice — listen on the commute, in the kitchen, or in the car. Lock-screen, Bluetooth, AirPods, and CarPlay controls all work the way you'd expect. Opening the Daily tab never starts audio on its own; you press play when you're ready.

Download today and the next 13 days for offline listening anywhere.

— DAILY VERSE & PRAYER —
A verse of the day as a quiet morning notification at a time you choose, plus optional morning, midday, and evening prayer reminders. Each reminder carries a prayer to pray, and a small library of classic prayers is a tap away: the Lord's Prayer, the Jesus Prayer, the Gloria Patri, and Psalms 23, 51, 91, and 121. All optional, all off until you turn it on.

— RESTORATION MARKERS —
Wherever the Masoretic Text removed verses or chapters present in the Septuagint, Sovereign Logos surfaces a clear restoration marker. The Book of Esther, for example, is restored in full — including the six chapters cut by later editors.

— BEYOND THE CANON: THE BOOK OF ENOCH —
The complete Book of Enoch, all 108 chapters, in R.H. Charles's 1917 translation. The Epistle of Jude quotes it by name ("Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied"), and the early Church read it, yet it is absent from nearly every modern Bible. Here it sits one tap away, beyond the canon but not beyond reach.

— YOUR ANNOTATIONS, YOUR DEVICE —
Long-press any verse to bookmark it, highlight it in color, or write a note. Every annotation stays on your device. No account is required, ever. No ads, no cross-app tracking.

— READ-ALOUD —
The reader speaks any chapter aloud at three rate presets, with the active verse highlighted as it reads. For when you want to follow along without taking your eyes off the text.

— SEARCH EVERY TRANSLATION —
Find any verse instantly across all of them. Filter by Old Testament, New Testament, or Deuterocanonical / Apocrypha when you know what you're looking for.

— CROSS-REFERENCES —
Tap any verse to see scripture's own commentary on itself: 343,000 cross-references between verses, sourced from a century of biblical scholarship.

— RED-LETTER NEW TESTAMENT —
Words spoken by Christ in the New Testament render in scarlet, the same way pulpit Bibles have been printed for over a century.

— COMFORT FEATURES —
• Dark, Light, and Sepia themes
• Adjustable font size and line height
• Pure-serif body type
• Resume where you left off automatically

Sovereign Logos is built for the long view. No subscriptions. No ads. No account, and nothing sold or shared. Just scripture, the way it was read for 1,500 years

### 5/5 — Best Bible App

*2026-06-19*

Very easy to use and straight forward. The daily reading section is my favorite, also love how you can listen to your daily reading instead of reading if you prefer. Christ is King.

### 5/5 — Best Bible app - references the Septuagint (LXX2012)!

*2026-06-17*

Finally a Bible app that references the Septuagint for the Old Testament. I have at least three different Bible apps but none of them even provide the option to read the LXX20212 like this one does. The UI/UX is very logical and aesthetically pleasing and the narrated videos are a wonderful touch. Keep up the great work Sovereign Logos! I’ll be sharing with friends and family

### 5/5 — Quality Bible

*2026-06-16*

Well constructed app with authentic content makes daily Bible use both easy and fostering deep reflection

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-31

Daily verse & prayer

• Get the verse of the day as a quiet notification each morning, at a time you choose. Tap it to open the passage in the reader.
• Set morning, midday, and evening prayer reminders, each carrying a prayer to pray, plus a small library of classic prayers: the Lord's Prayer, the Jesus Prayer, the Gloria Patri, and Psalms 23, 51, 91, and 121.

Three more Bibles

• The 1599 Geneva Bible and the World English Bible join the translation picker, alongside the Septuagint and the King James Version.
• The 1560 Geneva Apocrypha is included as its own translation.

Also new and improved

• The verse of the day now draws from a wider range of scripture.
• The daily-reading streak now credits every day you finished, and restores days you completed but that weren't counted before.
• The app icon now appears on the lock screen, CarPlay, and Bluetooth while audio is playing.
• Reading audio and the daily reading no longer interfere with each other's controls.

Everything new is optional and off until you turn it on. As always: no ads, no account, no tracking.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-14

Turn any verse into something worth sharing.

This update brings the image library into the everyday share flow, so a verse can go out over sacred artwork instead of a plain card, from wherever you are reading.

SHAREABLE VERSE ART, EVERYWHERE
In the Reader or the Daily plan, choose Share as image and pick a background: a clean card, or a piece of biblical artwork from the library. Every card carries the reference and translation, so what you share is always attributed.

SHARE A WHOLE PASSAGE
Select several verses at once and share them as a single image, with each verse numbered the way a printed Bible marks them. Choosing multiple verses is now the first option when you long-press a verse, on both the Reader and the Daily plan.

A STREAK YOU CAN TRUST
Your daily-reading streak now counts a day the moment you finish that day's reading. Read ahead and the day is banked to its own date, so the flame reflects what you have actually read.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
A clearer, more consistent way to select and share multiple verses across the Reader and the Daily plan.
Reliability improvements to image sharing and saving.
Small fixes and polish throughout.

Sovereign Logos stays what it has always been: no ads, no subscriptions, no account, and nothing sold or shared. Just scripture, the way it was read for fifteen centuries.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-07

The biggest update since launch.

- Highlight or underline the exact words that move you — not just whole verses
- New Home screen: a verse for the day that opens straight to the passage, plus a quick way to pick up where you left off
- Screens: keep several passages open at once and move between them freely — great for study and cross-reference
- Listening now counts like reading, so your streak grows whether it's your eyes or your ears in the Word
- Achievements now show what each mark means and the Scripture it's rooted in, and are awarded more accurately
- A calmer, simpler layout, a dedicated Watch tab for teaching videos, clearer Light and Sepia themes, and a refreshed look throughout

Thank you for reading with us.
