## What is Sovereign Scribe?

Sovereign Scribe records the meetings you are in, transcribes them on your iPhone, and turns the transcript into a debrief in your organization's own server.

IT ASKS FIRST

A session cannot start until you attest that everyone who can be recorded knows about it and consents. The Start button stays disabled until you do, there is no "don't ask again", and the server refuses a session that arrives without the attestation.

You declare the jurisdiction you are recording in. Where that jurisdiction requires everyone's consent, the app shows you a line to say out loud, plays a chime, and announces "Recording started" before the microphone activates. An unknown jurisdiction is treated as all-party — the app never resolves an uncertainty into silent capture.

There is no location permission and no GPS. The jurisdiction is something you state, not something the app works out about you.

IT SAYS SO WHILE IT RECORDS

A red RECORDING banner is shown on every screen for as long as the microphone is live, and a Lock Screen and Dynamic Island indicator shows the same thing while the phone is locked. Both are bound to the audio engine itself. No setting turns them off. There is no hidden mode.

AUDIO NEVER LEAVES THIS PHONE

Speech recognition runs on the device. This app contains no code that uploads audio anywhere. Recordings are kept on the iPhone so you can replay a meeting beside its transcript — encrypted at rest, excluded from iCloud backup, deletable one session at a time or all at once, and never exportable. Only transcript text is sent, and only to your own organization's server.

IT ENDS WITH A VERDICT

Your organization's server reads the transcript and returns a debrief: the claims that were made, what supports or contradicts them, and one verdict. When a meeting produced nothing to judge, it says that instead of inventing something.

WHAT IT IS NOT

No analytics. No advertising. No crash-reporting SDK. No account with us for the recording itself — the app pairs with your own server using a code your organization issues, and that server is the only one it talks to.

REQUIREMENTS

Sovereign Scribe is sold to organizations and needs a Sovereign Scribe room to pair with. It will not do anything useful on its own. A one-time speech-model download of about 600 MB is required before the first session; you are asked first, and told whether you are on Wi-Fi or cellular.
