But offline bugs (don’t buy dlc’s if offline) *2026-06-11, version 1.10* It’s free, try it! It’s awesome 😆 but devs please note this issue: I bought the abysall deamons faction pack and it doesn’t seem to function offline… Im only online once a week max so please fix! Love! Update: STILL offline bugs with all extra content and now it also crashes after any completion of the main game- it goes blank background n can only force-quit n then cannot start a new game until iPad is online. So: as long as you are online you are good! A bit similar to the old game shadow of the horned rat. Just wish you could load progress. On iOS mobile. Highly recommend, hope the developer continues to expand because I’ll give my money for it. Would love if campaign was longer so I could have the chance to build a bigger army, and adding more unit, spell, or hero unlocks would multiply its longevity. Highly recommend, 10/10 ### 5/5 — Just like a Tabletop 28mm dice game. *2026-03-15* If you ever wanted to play a tabletop game of 28mm soldiers in Rank & Flank turn based game, rolling buckets of D6 dice, THIS is that game. The pricing is also not predatory. The first five armies are unlocked in the free, base game, but you pay individually to unlock the others for $4 each. The only fault I can give it would be the lack of hot-seat play. ### 5/5 — Best tabletop simulator available *2026-03-15* I don’t know what some of these bad reviews are talking about, the game is excellent. Also free unless you want any of the advanced races. It’s always getting updates for quality improvement and new things to make it better. I’ve got this on my computer and my iPad, and I buy every race for computer but just my favorites for the iPad. If you love mini war gaming this is for you ### 5/5 — Fantastic strategy wargame *2026-03-13, version 1.07* Excellent variety of tactics and flavours, multiplayer is a blast with friends and the game is still receiving additional content. My only wish is that content updates would launch closer to the same time as they do on PC - PC has been updated with new heroes & Avalon faction. iOS is still very much behind. ### 5/5 — Really solid game. *2026-02-23, version 1.07* I’ve checked periodically over years for a game just like this. Free to play, no ads, and yes there are in app purchases but it’s for additional factions. The starting factions are more than enough variation to repeatedly enjoy the game. I have admittedly bought the demons and beastmen packs since they were what I played in warhammer :)) The game is quick paced, more like skirmish rules than all out war: good for a game or two on your lunch break. The maps are beautiful, albeit a bit “flat”, modular scenery would be a neat addition, where you can set it up pre game. That is just a nitpick hah. I hope the developers keep adding to this game, or maybe make a “40k” version of this ruleset. They are heavily against the player! Much more often than not, you will miss your attack and even more often lose on your saving rolls. The abilities are entirely without a reasonable definition as to what they do and many of the units and abilities are just absolute trash and designed to make you think “This unit must be good!” Until it crushes those thoughts under the weight of the rigged dice this pile of steaming dookie uses. ### 1/5 — Sux *2026-02-16, version 1.07* It would be great it I could move my units ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-10-25, version 1.07* The game mechanics are so bad my units won’t move when I double tap drag or anything else, and they don’t even bother to put a tutorial, very glitchy and ends up with them winning because my units just stand there because I can’t move them, come on. ### 1/5 — Nullissime *2025-10-24* Se résume à lancer des dés à la suite sans aucune stratégie réelle. À fuir ! ### 1/5 — Don’t play until fixed *2025-09-18* This game has some of the most worst random dice generators you will see. your units will never roll high and the enemy always rolls boxcars it it totally unbalanced and unfair to the player 80% of the time it would be an amazing game if not for the blatantly rigged dice generators that fell like they make match always close even when it appears your are doing much better that the ai or opponent I have failed so many give me rolls while the ai has crazy nuts rolls every turn. The devs need to fix the boot issue or update the game so it no longer works on older iOS. I’m on 12.5 so maybe my device is too old... but in that case either update the game and fix it or update the game and make it only available to later iOS. Ever since work I haven’t been able to play tabletop and this game has been my answer! I wish more games were like this and I can’t get enough of it. My only problem is that that’s arranged units. Can’t fire into ongoing combat like I get that if I just know it would be broken if I jammed someone in combat and they just peppered them, but there should be a system where I can shoot with like crossbows or archers cause they can arc their shots, but not musket men and I feel like there should be a chance to commit friendly fire.
