## What is Sovobut?

Sovobut is a dance phrase studio on your iPhone. Record a short phrase with the camera, add a spoken count with the microphone, or pick a clip from Photos.

Choose a style such as Hip Hop, Ballet, House, Contemporary, or Tutorial. Preview the take, name the phrase, and save it on this device. Stage shows your work next to other dancers you can follow, comment on, report, or block.

Saving a phrase does not spend Beats. Cue Pin is optional: spend 10 Beats to hold your phrase at the top of Stage for 24 hours on this iPhone. Beats are a consumable purchase. Buy a Beat Pack in Me → Store, then pin from a saved phrase.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-29

Pick a count for Hip Hop, Ballet, House, Contemporary, or Tutorial from Count Sheet in Studio or Preview, and place it on the phrase caption. Words such as eight and freeze stay marked while you edit.
Me → Store keeps Beat activity on this iPhone: Beat Pack purchases, and the 10 Beats spent when you confirm Cue Pin.
Studio records at the capture quality you choose in Settings. If this camera cannot use 4K, it says so and records at 1080p. A saved phrase shows the length of that take.
