As a result of their “improved app”, it cancelled all customers monthly automatic renewals, again without telling them this would happen, so I and thousands of others, found they could no longer make, receive calls or texts. It has taken FOUR months for them to sort it out, only for my wife’s auto renewal to be turned off!!! You cannot contact Lebara through the app, nor can you set up your own auto renewal. They don’t appear to have a clue. ### 1/5 — Top up *2023-01-29, version 23.3.0* I topped up in store when purchased the Sim contract, then topped up again at home but the balance shows €0 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Data is not cheap *2025-10-26, version 25.42.0* Prices quoted are not what’s charged roaming is too expensive data is still being charged even on WiFi I complained they said they sorted it and charged me a further €30 to sort but by the time I’d finished the conversation on WiFi got charged a further €9 in credit make that make sense Just awful network as a whole would not recommend would rate zero stars if possible ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-10-02* Bought two plans and after 3 days I’ve not been able to use these freaking SIM cards No service at all Customer service opened and incident and was told it would be 72 hours before id get a response as to what the issue is I was told it’s my iPhone that is not working NO IT IS NOT Tried another phine tgat works properly with another card and Lebara cards still don’t work Stay away from these thieves!!! I’ve tried again and again for a few days now and still doesn’t work. Can’t even see how much data ive got remaining. Fix this asap. And yes i’m aware this is the app for Spain as i’m here rn and have a spain sim ### 1/5 — Hard to navigate if Spanish is not primary language *2024-12-31* I was sold a Lebara SIM at Alicante airport which worked fine for a month then I started getting text messages telling me to top up. I went into the app and topped up (several times) and eventually had to call customer service. I am still not sure how the app is supposed to work and why it did not top up correctly before- customer service told me I needed to be on ‘a plan’. I do not know if I am on ‘a plan’ as there is nothing in the app to indicate this. Apparently not. I have had to top up every single day. I have topped up 20€ almost EVERY day. I have used my mobile in exactly the same way as I do when at home in Spain. On the app I cannot see where my money has gone. All I know is I have paid over 100€ for my trip in uk. I have 4 more days My remaining amount is 5.91€ My phone is now off & will remain so but I will need to use it once I am at the airport. I need to know how to get my money back that I am owed. I have been in uk for 27 days .
