## What is Soymilk?

Soymilk is a time management app built by a solo indie developer. It helps you split your day into two clear parts: what’s already scheduled, and what you still get to choose. Use it as a Pomodoro timer, a calendar for fixed events, or a simple todo list for flexible tasks.

The idea is simple: when you can clearly see when the next fixed event starts, it’s easier to relax—and easier to begin. Most of us are “single-threaded” when we focus. Once we’re in the zone, we stop tracking time well. And when we’re anxious about missing something, we default to mindless scrolling. Soymilk makes “what’s next” visible, so you can stop holding it in your head and focus on what matters now.

— Two sides of your day —

TIMELINE (fixed-time events)
On the left is your timeline for tasks with clear start and end times—meetings, classes, calls, appointments. These are already decided, so they shouldn’t take mental energy. When the time comes, they auto-start, so you don’t have to keep checking the clock. You can zoom the timeline, and switch to a calendar view to see today, this week, or further ahead.

TODAY (flexible tasks)
On the right are the tasks you can actually control—your goals, learning, deep work, revision, personal projects. This is the time worth managing. When you’re ready, drag a task into the Focus slot to start. Not doing it today? Archive it and keep your list clean and calm.

— Make consistency feel easier —

Focus rewards & records
During focus sessions, you earn rewards every minute. Redeem them for different items, check in daily, complete achievements, and build a visible record of your progress.

Limit distracting apps
For apps that pull you away, you can lock them on a timer (every few minutes). During focus, they can lock every minute. You can always unlock or stop focusing—Soymilk simply records your daily unlock time so you can compare and improve over time.

Task templates
For recurring tasks—daily, weekly, or monthly—set them once in your plan and Soymilk will generate them automatically, cutting down repetitive input and maintenance.

Soymilk is an indie app made and maintained by one developer. I’ll keep polishing the details and the feel—so it can stay a quiet, reliable tool in your everyday life.
