## What is Soyobue?

Soyobue helps you practice a 12-hole alto C ocarina with the score, sound, and fingering together. Choose a familiar melody, slow it down, and learn which holes to cover next.

FOLLOW THE MUSIC
Animated note highlights and a scrolling score follow playback while fingering diagrams show which holes to cover for the current note. The next note is shown alongside. Tap a note to preview it or start practicing from that position.

PRACTICE 61 MELODIES FOR FREE
Explore traditional and classical melodies, including Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Ode to Joy, Amazing Grace, and the theme from Pomp and Circumstance. Search the library, filter classical pieces, and return to favorites or recent tunes. Some pieces are themes, excerpts, or shortened versions. Sources and editions are listed in Settings.

LEARN AT YOUR PACE
Adjust playback speed, use a count-in or metronome, repeat an A–B section, and move one note at a time. Explore individual notes in the fingering chart. Practice audio is synthesized on your device.

BRING YOUR OWN FINISHED SCORES
Import JSON or supported MusicXML scores for free read-only practice. Export scores and backups as JSON files. MusicXML import supports uncompressed, single-part melodies; compressed MXL, multiple parts, and chords are not supported.

CREATE AND EDIT WITH A ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Creating new scores, editing, and saving score drafts require a one-time in-app purchase. Once unlocked, you can create multiple scores and reopen saved scores from the library to edit them. This is not a per-song charge or a subscription. The purchase screen displays your local price. Restore purchases from Settings or the purchase screen.

BEFORE YOU PLAY
Requires an iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Designed for a 12-hole alto C ocarina. Fingering varies by instrument, so also consult your instrument's own fingering chart. Soyobue does not record, grade, or tune your playing with the microphone.

No app account or advertising. Scores and settings are stored on your device. Purchases, restoration, and opening external links require an internet connection. The interface supports 20 languages; included song titles are provided in English and Japanese.
