Now, I can use app but can’t access any of my files. So distressed and I can’t get help! **Developer response:** If you need support about this app, please contact us via developer email in the about app section. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2020-04-18* No explanation on how to use the app. I managed to get it recording once. After minimising the app I had no idea how to stop the recording. I went back into the app but it was a blank black screen. I couldn’t stop the recording so I had to kill the app which did the trick. But I have no idea. To retrieve or listen to the recording. I have now gone into the app several times but all I see is a black blank screen. Not sure if that’s supposed to happen but there is no instruction on how to get the app to do anything. So clearly the app doesn’t do what the App Store says it does Installed on an iPhone 11 Pro Max with latest iOS. **Developer response:** UPDATE 1: Please update to version 4.0, black blank screen will be fixed properly. So I used the apps lock features, and now I can’t seem to access any of the controls. When I start the app it says automatic start up.No matter where I touch on the screen nothing happens. I can no longer access any of the controls. All I have now is a digital clock. I’m afraid if I delete the app and reinstall it that I will lose all of my recording files. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work with latest iPhone update *2018-10-18* The title says it all. I updated my phone and missed a recording because the app doesn't work with the latest update. All I get is a black screen now. Go somewhere else for a recrding app. **Developer response:** As we already tested, this app is working properly on lastest iOS 12. If you see black screen, your last app visibility mode must be in hidden mode. Please tap on left button to switch between visibility modes. Rubbish ! And doesn’t record for long and cuts out. Even with the so called updates it still crashes. Not enough work has gone into the testing of the app. It should not be on the market and I want my money back ! **Developer response:** In version 2.8, if phone call interruption occurred, the current recording will be saved properly. About app crash by phone call interruption is a bug from internal iOS. Prior iOS 11, after the phone call interruption, the app will be relaunched, not crash like in iOS 11. ### 1/5 — Not spy or secret *2017-10-28* In order for an app to be a stealth recorder it needs to be able to run in the background without the red bar at the top of the screen. The static image does not fool anyone and was wasted coding time. I really need the audio that was recorded but when I press the button it does not open anything. Kind of hard to actually play back a recording when it can’t be accessed. Did you bother to test the app before releasing it? **Developer response:** We did test many times before we released each version. In version 4.0, we did several change for this app, where you can faster access recorded files directly when you tap on File button (top right) instead of go to Setting section first. So, if you set passcode and enable "Lock View Recorded Files", it may required you to input the passcode before you can access the recorded files. If the above information cannot solve your issue, please contact us via developer email in the About App section, we can track your issue further and response back to you faster. ### 1/5 — Big Issues in Recent Updates *2020-10-20* Unfortunately, recent updates have made lots of problems.in the past I had no problem. I’m using the last update v. 4.0, I set the background to black, also with passcode access ( fingerprint) and auto start, but when I run the SPV app in explained conditions, after unlocking the screen, setup icon does not respond at all and there is no way to get access to the setup menu! Finally,I had to reinstall the app and I lost my saved files! Cheers **Developer response:** UPDATE 1: Do not delete your app just yet, you need to backup recorded files first. In Passcode setting, there is an option "Prevent Unintentionally Touch on Recorder UI after Locked", this requried you to tap and hold eye button to show unlock passcode dialog. Even you enable "Auto Start Recording" option in Automatic Mode, but if you enable "Lock When App Launch" in Passcode setting, you still need to unlock the passcode first before app can perform those automatic functions. If you are not clear about any functions, please contact us via developer email in the App App section, we can response back to you faster. ORIGINAL: In version 4.0, we allow you to access your recorded files faster by tap on top right button. In file list view, tap on Setting button (top right) to access app settings. ### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK-BLANK BLACK SCREEN *2020-09-30* I purchased & downloaded this app and click on it and it’s just a blank, black screen. Can’t press anything, can’t get out unless I press home button to get out! I don’t want to have the red recording light on when im making a recording. Not very discreet to have the recording light on... is it possible to deactivate this via the app? Thanks **Developer response:** Due to restriction of iOS, every app, that use microphone hardware and permission, always show red indicator in status bar. So, please stay inside this app during the recording. This app got many features like lock with passcode, interactive backgrounds, automatic mode, adjustable UI visibility and more. Left wondering 3 questions: Does app gives warning sound/message when you're running out of memory on phone? Is data saved when you run out of memory? Or do you lose all recording? Why does recorded time over 1 hour shows as 1:120 instead of 3:00? **Developer response:** - Warning sound/message when out of memory: this app will NOT show any warning sound or message on screen when out of memory, since this type of warning will be caused attention from surrounding. - If Data saved when run out of memory: you won't lose your current recording, it will save your current recording audio. In case of app crashes, it will save current recording until app crash. - over 1 hour shows as 1:120 instead of 3:00 recording duration: thank for report this bug, we will fix it in the next update.
