When I first started playing this game I thought it wasn’t to bad. Like most mobile games it is very pay to win. However, recently they have added pop up ads whenever you go to do something. It’s one thing to have ads for resources or specials. But to watch a 2-3 minute ad every time you go to battle, which is literally all you do in this game. It’s a deal breaker for me. So unless you like very long ads for every 30 seconds of play time I would steer clear. ### 3/5 — New ships *2026-06-25, version 3.30.1* For every level you gain, you get a new ship, but then you have to pay a substantial amount of in-game currency to actually *get* that ship. I really do. I actually downloaded it because it looked like a better version of a game I was playing, so I was like, it’s got to be better. And it is. Unless you want to watch ads for rewards and not spend lots of money. Because the ads are either greedy or broken. It forces you to watch extremely long ads, and forces you to play them until the end to get a close button. I very much love this game and its play style…… despite its pay to win obvious theme. I enjoy building ships that are anti-whale. It’s fun to me. I don’t even mind that I need to watch adds for 80% of the in-game currency. I average 10 a day for said currency and 3-7 just to do refills on the shop and extra fights….. but starting today I have been forced to watch videos in between every 2-4 matches. I gladly watch 15 adds a day for my entertainment but now……. Now I’m being forced to watch adds just to play the game. And on top of that on two occasions I had adds as I was leaving a match to switch ships. I get a message before each time saying “we have to show adds to make money but you can pay to remove these adds.” Every game that has had to resort to this kind of advertising has swirled down the drain into nothingness. I give this game 3 months before it’s abandoned by 80% of its current members. I don’t even care that I have yet to be able to get a gold ship as it gives me reason to keep playing and saving resources up……… but this add business is terrible. It’s becoming just another io. game. Oh Incase this matters I also hit lvl 26 just before I went to bed yesterday. Don’t get me wrong, This is an amazing game and I love it. It’s just gotten to the point that You can’t play it anymore unless you pay for it. Even though the pack advertised as 74.99. So false advertising. 2nd. The ship only lasted a day and then when I was moving it to a new spot in the hanger it disappeared and. Can’t find it at all. Even when i go to check the store I can’t even ell if it’s unlocked because the lvl requirement is blocking the purchase button. I did email support but have gotten no response. This is my last ditch effort to resolve the issue. If not I will be requesting full refunds for all purchases.
