But now every time I try to play it will give me a never ending reconnect screen, preventing me from playing. Every time I open it, the game freezes and says connection issue. I know it’s not my connection because I have full bars of service and all of my other apps work. Could easily be more if updates were done more, and if creators were listening to gamers suggestions. Would be happy to give 5 stars if more work would be done to make the gamers happy. ### 3/5 — Good potential, but not for free to plays *2020-09-08, version 2.1.411* Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really fun game, but if your not willing to cash out some money, then your not gunna progress on your own and rely on your team having some cash cows, if you pay 6 bucks up front you get a huge advantage and can 1v1 and starter ship, even bulky ships that took a lot of effort getting (falcon, Phoenix, etc) for free to play players. And end game being a free to play is almost impossible, with $80 ships just decimating any chance you have if you don’t have one ### 2/5 — Downgrade from planet commander?? *2020-08-30, version 2.1.411* Don’t let the negative reviews of this game being a down grade from their previous title get to you because....well it’s 100% true! I played planet commander religiously, I’ve made several small transactions as many other players have not to win but to have fun playing. We’ve begged for so long to at the least get a friends list of some sort, a que’d pre-game lobby, something? Yet we got nothing, not even a notification of discontinued support for planet commander?? Then to top it off, you lose EVERYTHING you’ve paid and played for!? NOTHING transfer from planet commander to space armada except your newly acquired grief that you realized you’re starting from scratch. There’s not even a chat room in this game ffs? There’s no explanation or description what so ever for any equippable items in game. Any one that’s new to the game will just have to rough it out and learn an burn. Stay safe, don’t pee facing the wind. ### 3/5 — Rip off of Planet Commander *2020-08-23, version 2.1.411* I rarely play mobile games for the absurd micro-transactions and in-game ads and this game is no exception. What’s really interesting though is that the developers that made this game made a near exact copy prior under a different name. Same trailer most of the ships are the same but unlike the previous game this one appears to lack features such as a global chat, tutorial and favor shoving “deals” for ships and upgrades in your face. I’d recommend to anyone who thinks they can ignore all that. The game isn’t complicated at all but it does have a certain coolness factor flying your own ship. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I want to play again…. *2022-08-20, version 2.1.411* I used to play this game a few years back. I loved it and was one of the games I was loyal to. It was a 6 degree of freedom, world of warships type. Was really fun and difficult at the same time. Please bring it back to the public. For I and I’m sure many others would be interested in this game. I wouldn’t even care if I was being charged for a subscription just to keep the servers on so we could all have a chance to play. Truly miss this game for mobile. P.s. oh by the way, your picture for the app itself looks like a very familiar ship from another game in alpha. Competed in one of their regular tournaments and made it number 2 in my region. Then, with less than one day left in the tournament on this past Sunday, my game suddenly began locking up in the “attempting to reconnect” screen. Definitely a disappointment but I thought it was just a matter of contacting customer support and there would be a quick fix. Unfortunately, customer support has not even responded to my emails and the game is useless to me now. However having played this game in particular, the game mechanics, although more advanced, have one major drawback: They are a reboot or remake of the old “Planet Commander” game. The ships, are exactly named as previously mentioned in the older game, excluding the newer ships to update or separate the game from another. The graphics are just about the same, I have no means of comparing it to a “console level” experience. As well, the actual game menu... It’s not really helpful. You can not dissect anything as you could’ve before. If I wanted to buy off the in-game store a weapon(s) to equip my ship, it’s not how it was before, where you could randomly get the ones you search for or rush if you pay the crystals. I had also invested “x” amount of money in the older game... It would’ve been nice if it carried over your purchases, as this is virtually the same game with the same ships and equipment... Overall, it’s quite annoying and very distasteful especially for those who have played the original game beforehand... ### 1/5 — Clone of Planet Commander!! *2019-10-11, version 2.1.410* Alright, these are great games, sure. But this is a clone of Planet Commander except just MORE EXPENSIVE!!! So good. You control a ship and fight in a huge 3D map against bots and (sometimes) real players. Graphics are great; only downside is that ships can get REALLY expensive. It reminds me a bit of EVE online. The combat is straightforward and it’s a lot of fun to progress. I don’t like the pay to win aspect though. I’m now at level 33 and play mostly against people who have bought the super expensive ships. I’ve also noticed a number of bugs that should be addressed. 1) the reward payout doesn’t always seem to be reflected in my total gold.
