## What is Space Simulator?

Every planet and moon where it really is tonight, 109,000 stars at their measured distances, and a ship to reach them. Fly anywhere, land on other worlds, or smash a planet and see what real physics does to it.
TRAVEL BY SHIP
- Fly from the cockpit, or watch your ship from outside, lit by the nearest star.
- Set the speed yourself, from a rocket's to millions of times the speed of light, and see how far it really is: light-years, light travel time, and how long Voyager 1 would take.
- Below light speed, relativity shows: stars crowd ahead and turn blue, and time on board runs slower.
- Land on the Moon and Mars, or drop to the cloud tops of Jupiter.
DESTROY WORLD
- Smash a planet with asteroids, antimatter, a passing black hole, a gamma-ray burst or a nearby supernova. Every blast is sized with the same physics as real impacts.
- Work through 30 destroy tasks in three chapters.
CRASH SIMULATOR
- Replay 17 collisions, real and imagined: the impact that made the Moon, the asteroid that ended the dinosaurs, Shoemaker-Levy 9, Tunguska, Betelgeuse exploding.
JOURNEYS
- 17 guided flights of about three minutes each, with a few words at every stop, read aloud if you like: ocean moons, the life of a star, the galaxies next door.
THE REAL SKY, CLEARLY LABELED
- Planets and moons computed for today's date, 109,000 stars, 6,400 confirmed exoplanets, 12,900 galaxies, clusters and nebulae, 13,000 asteroids and comets, and the spacecraft we sent out.
- A mark on every object says whether it is measured or imagined. Worlds no one has seen yet are generated from what real planetary systems are like; find one and give it a name.
- Eclipses, Moon phases, planets at opposition and meteor showers for the coming year.
- Photo mode hides the interface for a clean picture of any view.
PLANET ENGINE PRO
- Lifetime: $29.99, paid once
- Yearly: $19.99 a year
- Weekly: $4.99 a week, with a 3-day free trial
