Prepare to climb into the cockpit of a star fighter and free the galaxy with the Space Wars 3D Star Combat Simulator! 

More than just a basic space shooter, Space Wars is a 3D space simulator for budding star pilots everywhere! Choose your ship, install your upgrades, and prepare to take on the alien menace! 

Features: 
- Addictive, fun, yet challenging game play. Play for 5 minutes, or 5 hours! Hours of star dogfights await you! 
- Highly detailed real time 3D graphics that make use of the Retina display on both iPhone and the new iPad.
- Many different ships to fly, and destroy!
- Watch ships randomly fly apart as you blow them from the stars!
- Dynamic 3D sound, so you can hear what's coming and where. 
- As you complete missions, you earn credits that can be used to unlock new ships, or install upgrades on your ships, including a Cloaking device, missiles and much much more! 
- Each sector of space has a beautifully designed background, with dynamic 3D lighting. So the action is lit differently depending on what stars are in the area.

I really like this game, but there are a few tweaks that are needed. First, there needs to be ships added. Secondly, there needs to be more variety of upgrades available. Lastly, there should be more than one galaxy, so you can conquer more space. But great game.

I love this game, I really think it deserves a revamp, but the devs haven't made anything after 9 years sadly, I hope someone remakes this game, this... has great potential.

Still addictive so many years on but would still like to see some new updates and changes. One such idea being able to fly the motherships and install upgrades on them. another idea perhaps even widen the cruiser selection now that we have so many. Star fighters to choose from.

I like the fact that you tilt the phone to steer up/down or left/right, but the horizontal is access inverted (i.e. left turns you right instead of left), which makes the game unplayable. I see no way in the settings to fix this, so will shelve the game until they provide an update addressing this. For now it deserves less than 1 star.

I downloaded this game but couldn’t even start playing it, as soon as I pressed new game it comes up with a window to type your name however this window was in portrait and everything else is in landscape, the keyboard covered half the window so I couldn’t progress past this point, so I deleted the app.

It's a pretty good FPS game for a free mobile game. Steering feels nice and responsive and the shooting is too. I would like more things happening in the background, like huge capital ships firing at each-other while smaller star fighters are ducking it out. Still pretty good
