However on an iPad in horizontal orientation, text scrolling doesn’t work and an empty white box appears on the right side of the display. ### 3/5 — OK app but not updating *2018-12-10, version 2.9.10* I purchased this app because I’m a ham radio operator and I need to be up-to-date on solar activity. It worked well for the last year but seems to be stalling /functioning poorly now. The app tells me the solar wind is low but if you correlate with spaceweather.com, the solar wind is very high today. The Histogram re: KP index terminates on Nov 30 but today is Dec 10 so what happened to the missing time period? I checked for an update but none is available. Running latest IOS on apple 6s phone. Wondering what the issue is? ### 4/5 — Love the info, hate that I can’t stop the alerts *2018-09-17* I love the info, the graphics, and the clear explanations. I signed up for alerts but am getting so many every day that I have had to keep my phone silenced. I live in a wildfire area and need to be able to hear updates and evacuation alerts. Despite many tries, I cannot turn off this app’s alerts in settings. I think others may have had this problem. I like this app but will jettison it if I must so I can use my phone again. **Developer response:** Hi there. You should be able to adjust all notifications in Explore>Settings. There you will find every type of notification. If that doesn’t work you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app however the in app settings should give you what you need. ### 5/5 — A Most Important App *2018-08-27* The Space Weather App is the fastest and most accurate of all apps dealing with the space weather indicators. Due to increased health risks associated with space weather, this app is more than just informative. It can provide an early warning for those affected by increased space weather indices. This allows for those with increased sensitivities to the effects of space weather, to anticipate and prepare. An excellent app and service provided by the developer. After uninstalling it 2 days after initial received a receipt showing my first subscription payment. Won't display the index in "Today" and won't displaywss index in "last 24". bummer, was a good app. Apple's new iOS and macOS both have buggy issues w/ third party apps & devices. ### 2/5 — Too many alerts *2018-03-18* Handy app, useful, but getting a push notification every few minutes when the K-index goes high gets really annoying. 9 alerts saying the exact same thing in the space of a half hour gets old. **Developer response:** We’ve added tons of ways to customize alerts based on your feedback. Starts to, but only shows a red screen. Nothing else. Needs to be fixed. I have the latest iOS update. Update: App is now working again. I enjoy this app due to all of the information that it has. We had an issue with one of our services that has now been resolved. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Excellent, Detailed Space Weather App! *2022-10-22, version 2.15.13* This app is excellent, not only will it give you detailed current space weather information, it has very customizable, Alerts, and an excellent assortment of images and movies that let you look deeper into space weather conditions, such as solar wind, LASCO and other satellite, raw data, and a host of other goodies! I use this in conjunction with SpaceWeatherLive app, and I find that both of them together, give you the full experience of being able to quickly and easily search at any time for current space weather/Aurora conditions, as well as receiving customizable alerts that will let you know when you may expect aurora in your location! This is NOT like those super simple, dumbed down, apps, like aurora forecast, or aurora pro, this app is something special! ### 5/5 — This App *2021-05-30* Despite the “opportunities” this app had the most important to me are the alerts.
