### 4/5 — Good adaptation

*2025-09-02*

Thanks for fixing a crash on iPads with 3GB of memory. This is a solid albeit very literal board gane adaptation.

Edit: Turning on Low Graphics Mode in the settings fixes the crashes on my iPhone 12 and presumably on older devices wirh less memory. Upgraded to 4 stars!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We just pushed a new 1.07 build with a couple more memory tweaks. Can you try that on your iphone 12? We want to get it working for as many older models as we can.

Also, there is a new setting called “Low Graphics Mode” that reduces memory usage a tiny bit more. Get the 1.0.7 build, try it, and if that doesn’t work, try the new setting.

Fingers crossed!

### 4/5 — Fixed!

*2025-08-25*

The update did the trick. Now the game works perfectly. I am enjoying the implementation of the board game.

**Developer response:** Awesome! Glad you are enjoying the game!! Thank you for editing your review! Keep up with the updates, we will keep working on reducing RAM requirements every chance we can.

### 4/5 — Well done

*2025-08-24*

Effective, clean, and compelling app of a well-regarded board game. Fun so far, I look forward to more plays and will update my review.

### 4/5 — Works well enough

*2025-08-23*

Tutorial doesn't work the greatest (e.g. if you leave and come back it's confusing what you were doing because the tutorial text may go away) and no online multilayer yet, but the game is playable. I've found navigating the board a bit difficult. Improving the pinch to zoom functionality would help. It's there but janky

### 4/5 — Great implementation of SpaceCorp

*2025-08-23*

While I haven’t yet played the board game, this seems a faithful implementation based on the rule book. It is very fun and (so far) very challenging, but I am new to the game so maybe I will get better. The tutorial could be more complete, however.

It includes multiple AI opponent levels and even implements the board game solo AI as an option.

The developer is very responsive and is working on fixing the crashing issue on devices with lower memory.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes when starting

*2025-08-25*

The app crashes when I try to start the game

**Developer response:** Please update the app. There is a new 1.0.4 build that should work for you. And another 1.0.6 build under review by Apple now. We are working to get the app working for all the older devices.

### 1/5 — Crashes immediately!

*2025-08-21*

The app simply crashes and closes as soon as I hit “Start Game”. iPad running iOS 18.6.2. (sigh…) Guess I’m out 7 bucks.

**Developer response:** Yes, a new build that supports older 3GB iPads has been submitted to Apple on 8/22. You should be good to go after it is approved. We really apologize for the inconvenience.

### 1/5 — Tutorial - App crashes

*2025-08-21*

I have started the app several times, but the tutorial does not work. The app crashes every time.

**Developer response:** Yes, a new build that supports older 3GB devices has been submitted to Apple on 8/22. You should be good to go after it is approved. We really apologize for the inconvenience.

### 1/5 — Not ready to go yet

*2025-08-21*

The game crashes every time I try to start the tutorial

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPhone 13

*2025-08-21*

The app opens, but closes itself with no explanation if I try to start a game. Going to have to return it.

**Developer response:** Yes, a new build that supports older device has been submitted to Apple on 8/22. You should be good to go after it is approved. We really apologize for the inconvenience.

### 2/5 — Confusing

*2026-03-19*

Mechanics are confusing. Couldn’t figure out how to play.

### 3/5 — Decent but really needs multiplayer

*2025-09-21*

Hopefully someday

### 4/5 — Great game… but there may be a bug

*2025-10-29*

I’m enjoying the game, but I’ve run into what I think may be a bug. When I get into the second era, some of the cards introduced into the deck are blank. They do have a effect on the game… I can see values when I perform an infrastructure upgrade, for example, but the cards themselves have no art, no text, and are just white outlined playholders. Have you run into this before? I have not tried reinstalling yet. That will be my next step. Anyway, hopefully this is an easy fix. Otherwise, enjoyable game.

### 4/5 — Excellent singleplayer iOS port of a great board game! Wish it had multiplayer!

*2025-09-20*

Over the years, I've dabbled with many board games on iOS.

SpaceCorp is an excellent addition to my favorites! The gameplay is smooth, and the controls are easy to grasp on a smalls screen. The setting is compelling and the music is excellent.

The board game is a lot of fun, and I find myself appreciating the random aspects of the game after each play through!

My only issue is a lack of multiplayer!

If the devs see this, I'd love to see that added. Games like Race for the Galaxy still have a great MP scene on their app even a decade later.

### 4/5 — Crashes fixed

*2025-09-03*

The update fixed the crashing. Now I can say this is a fun game and I await the dlc

**Developer response:** Please update the app. There is a new 1.0.4 build that should work for you. And another 1.0.6 build under review by Apple now. We are working to get the app working for all the older devices.

### 5/5 — Favorite Boardgame ToGo

*2026-05-10*

I love the original board game SpaceCorp and I‘m happy found this in the app store. Dispite minor bug in tutorial it deserves 5 stars. Hope some non-board-gamers find this gem. Compared to other app-games you have to invest some effort to fully enjoy. Thats because the developer created an almost 1:1 adaption which seems to be a little clunky for non-board-gamers

### 5/5 — With Ventures is an endorsement

*2025-11-27*

Core game is very nice. But with Ventures, a lot of combinatorial possibilities appear. Lots to explore. Also helps me be a better player at the table when we break out the boardgame.

### 5/5 — Top Umsetzung

*2025-09-07*

Ich habe das Original Brettspiel. Die digitale Umsetzung ist wirklich fantastisch geworden. Bin begeistert. Daumen hoch für die Entwickler !

### 5/5 — Excellent Rendition of the Boardgame

*2025-08-31*

It would be hard for me to suggest any changes to this outstanding digital game. This is my favorite space themed board game that is very challenging to get to the table to play all 3 eras. The digital game lets me blast thru all the eras anytime and anywhere! Would love to see a pass and play feature in the future. AI could be better, but I’m comfortably challenged by the medium difficulty level right now. Can’t wait to play the expansion!

### 5/5 — Fun game!

*2025-08-27*

Top notch implementation of a great board game game.

### 5/5 — to infinity and beyond

*2025-08-25*

This is an excellent presentation of an excellent board game, and it doesn’t require a 3’x4’ table. SpaceCorp is a challenging game with interesting mechanics that do not require doom fleets. There are many ways to win and to lose. The AI is no slouch. If you are unfamiliar with SpaceCorp avail yourself of the excellent manual linked to the app after doing the tutorial. This port does an excellent job of presenting the complex mechanics to relieve the player of mundane chores. Kudos to the developer. The fun and challenge is in the nuances of strategy, and while you ponder your next move, the excellent sound track creates the setting of a sci-fi adventure without ever becoming intrusive or annoying.

### 5/5 — the final business frontier

### 5/5 — Sehr gute Umsetzung

*2025-08-24*

Fehler scheinen behoben zu sein, top Spielumsetzung

### 5/5 — It really is the board game

*2025-08-24*

How can you go wrong? No bugs so far and it plays the same. I am hooked and $7 is so much better than a single coffee.

### 5/5 — It’s SpaceCorp

*2025-08-22*

While it isn’t as graphically impressive as other modern boardgame conventions, it’s a well done rendition of SpaceCorp.

I haven’t encountered a single bug in 5 plays, and either that AI isn’t that bad at the game, or I’m the worst SpaceCorp player on the planet.

If you like the game, or just like space themed Boardgames in general, you’ll get your worth out of this offering.
