This is a solid albeit very literal board gane adaptation. Edit: Turning on Low Graphics Mode in the settings fixes the crashes on my iPhone 12 and presumably on older devices wirh less memory. Upgraded to 4 stars! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We just pushed a new 1.07 build with a couple more memory tweaks. Can you try that on your iphone 12? We want to get it working for as many older models as we can. Also, there is a new setting called “Low Graphics Mode” that reduces memory usage a tiny bit more. Fun so far, I look forward to more plays and will update my review. ### 4/5 — Works well enough *2025-08-23* Tutorial doesn't work the greatest (e.g. if you leave and come back it's confusing what you were doing because the tutorial text may go away) and no online multilayer yet, but the game is playable. I've found navigating the board a bit difficult. Improving the pinch to zoom functionality would help. It's there but janky ### 4/5 — Great implementation of SpaceCorp *2025-08-23* While I haven’t yet played the board game, this seems a faithful implementation based on the rule book. It is very fun and (so far) very challenging, but I am new to the game so maybe I will get better. The tutorial could be more complete, however. It includes multiple AI opponent levels and even implements the board game solo AI as an option. When I get into the second era, some of the cards introduced into the deck are blank. They do have a effect on the game… I can see values when I perform an infrastructure upgrade, for example, but the cards themselves have no art, no text, and are just white outlined playholders. Have you run into this before? I have not tried reinstalling yet. That will be my next step. Anyway, hopefully this is an easy fix. Otherwise, enjoyable game. ### 4/5 — Excellent singleplayer iOS port of a great board game! Wish it had multiplayer! *2025-09-20* Over the years, I've dabbled with many board games on iOS. SpaceCorp is an excellent addition to my favorites! The gameplay is smooth, and the controls are easy to grasp on a smalls screen. The setting is compelling and the music is excellent. The board game is a lot of fun, and I find myself appreciating the random aspects of the game after each play through! My only issue is a lack of multiplayer! If the devs see this, I'd love to see that added. Games like Race for the Galaxy still have a great MP scene on their app even a decade later. ### 4/5 — Crashes fixed *2025-09-03* The update fixed the crashing. Dispite minor bug in tutorial it deserves 5 stars. Hope some non-board-gamers find this gem. Compared to other app-games you have to invest some effort to fully enjoy. Thats because the developer created an almost 1:1 adaption which seems to be a little clunky for non-board-gamers ### 5/5 — With Ventures is an endorsement *2025-11-27* Core game is very nice. But with Ventures, a lot of combinatorial possibilities appear. Lots to explore. This is my favorite space themed board game that is very challenging to get to the table to play all 3 eras. The digital game lets me blast thru all the eras anytime and anywhere! This port does an excellent job of presenting the complex mechanics to relieve the player of mundane chores. Kudos to the developer.
