This seems like a pretty transparent way to extract money from people who aren’t paying attention, while providing little benefit - $100k isn’t even *close* to cover someone against the risk of permanent disability. Please do NOT adopt strategies like this - I am seriously considering switching my super away from Spaceship now. ### 4/5 — Great investment, irritating updates *2025-11-01, version 2.103.3* The app is very simple and easy, makes investing stress free. My investment has done fairly well with their fund! But please stop making it mandatory to update my app every few days and then have to log in all over again in order to use this!! What would make it perfect is to have a function where you can select dates with your fingers and see what the performance is for that period. And instead of putting the money into my account Spaceship stole my money and took it out of my bank account. Customer service is all AI and non existent. ### 1/5 — Every app update forces me to login again *2026-04-02, version 2.109.12* Every single time the app is updated, I’m forced to re-login. The app also makes me set a pin, which does nothing because when the app updates, I get to set the pin (again). It’s pretty damn annoying ### 1/5 — App is so glitchy *2026-03-26, version 2.109.11* The app worked fine for years but the last six months it is so glitchy. Every day it seems to reset so each day when I login it asks me to set a new 4 digit password and also to enable Face ID EVERY DAY. Have started taking all my money out to switch to the new commsec trading app I heard about recently. Also FYI: the “spaceship” account the app seems to own / promote seems to underperform so I only used the app to buy other ETFs and stocks. I recently learnt though that it is more like owning a share in the etf is if the company this is all done through died I think I’d lose all my money. There is also Superannuation accounts, First Home Buyer superannuation savings accounts and of course many different ETF’s & stocks to purchase. It also has cheaper costs vs many of the other fin apps per investment and the account management fee’s are responsible when using this app for investing in the US. As a Dis. Pensioner with little to no savings in 2022 I know have $17,000 (current value 26’) invested into various ETF’s & stocks. I’m hoping to get to $20G this financial year. One improvement would be greater info displayed on ones investments like %gains ,% growth rates per timeframe, etc Greater onscreen accounts information would allow one to be more confident in decision making & it would then give more confidence in one’s investment thesis .
