Presently even after having this app for years, I am unable to open the app and get the information I need for my very large Facebook page. You guys need to contact me as soon as possible or just fix the problem. Thank you. MA PS It would be a very good change if you were to make a way for your paying clients to contact you through your app directly ( instead of having to write a comment on some other platform like X) after all, those of us who have your app are the ones who are paying. I don't want to try to enter my questions in a "forum". It's too difficult to contact you, and I was unable to post anything from your SpaceWeatherLive app for days and no way to contact you directly. I would also love it if you would make real time live updates for solar, flares, etc., like you used to. Thank you for your attention to these matters. The reason I'm writing this here is because I can't contact you directly. **Developer response:** Keep in mind we do this in our free time outside our main jobs and family. Also, send screenshot of confirmation of subscription and if it’s currently active. ### 2/5 — Great app except for the XXX Rated ads I can’t get rid of, despite my iPhone settings *2026-02-09, version 1.9.1* I don’t mind ads but unwanted, XXX ads popping up w/o even a warning option to shut them off is nuts. I was just about to show the app to my young niece 🤬. Get rid of that or I drop the app & warn all my friends I initially recommended it to. And no, it’s def not a product of my algorithms. ### 4/5 — Too many notifications *2026-02-08* Otherwise, best app **Developer response:** You can control what notifications you want to receive and what not and set thresholds for each typ . During active space weather like in the past few days many notifications can be send so configuring them to your liking is the way to go. In the app menu, go to settings -> Manage notifications and adapt it to your needs. ### 4/5 — MY FAVOURITE APP EVER BUT NOTIFICATIONS STOPPED WORKING *2025-11-12* I LOVE this app i’ve been using it for years. Notifications for solar flares and geomagnetic storms are so important to me as an aurora hunter. In recent months I’ve completely stopped receiving push notifications from this app. I have checked all my settings etc. The app isn’t working. PLEASE FIX! I want to see notifications of solar flares!! ### 3/5 — This app advertises bogus virus scanning software *2025-10-04, version 1.9.1* DON’T USE IT. ### 2/5 — Great information but infested with ads *2025-06-01, version 1.9.0* The information is rock-solid and excellent. I want to give you my hard-earned money so I don’t see ads polluting that data. Unfortunately, the “subscription” options seem to have vanished, and we are forced to watch the worst kind of ads forever. ### 3/5 — TOO MANY ADS *2025-06-01, version 1.9.0* I used to love this app. It still has significant information - but every other page has a pop up add for Royal Match or some other game that takes FOREVER for it to play before you can exit it to get back to the app and see the information. That would be awesome! Also, lately the push notifications for Hemispheric Power have not been working for me, and I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and tried changing the threshold, but nothing has worked so far. Thank you! **Developer response:** Thx for the feedback! Hemispheric power alerts have been send out last night multiple times. Just one issue lately.. *2025-03-23* Couldn’t find another way to leave this feedback, but just wanted to let you guys know that it seems like solar flare alerts have stopped coming through the app. I’m seeing alerts for geomagnetic storms, but I haven’t seen a solar flare alert in a very long time. I double checked my settings and they are set correctly. **Developer response:** You can always contact us through our site or community forum. We haven’t seen any issues with solar flare alerts, we still see them being delivered. Please send us the push notifications ID on the push notifications page, tab FAQ so we can check if there’s something wrong. ### 4/5 — Is there a problem? *2025-01-04* Solar images today show the image of this date SDO/AIA- 211 2024-11-26 23:34:09 **Developer response:** SDO imagery is offline due to flooding of the JSOC server that processes the SDO imagery. Ads are only shown when you stay longer then a minute on a page. Don’t want ads? Außerdem mache ich das freiwillig und werde nicht einmal dafür bezahlt, alle Einnahmen gehen in die Bezahlung der Rechnungen, um dies aufrechtzuerhalten. Deshalb gibt es Anzeigen und Abonnements. Auch der Preis ist sehr günstig, nur 0,99€/Monat (wir bekommen nur die Hälfte davon aufgrund von Steuern und App Store-Gebühren). Denken Sie daran, dass die Werbetreibenden wählen, ob es eine Schaltfläche zum Schließen gibt oder ob die Anzeige übersprungen werden kann. Wir bieten die Werbefläche nur für Werbetreibende. This app always turns notifications off. It was also difficult to access the oval view. What has finally caused me to delete it is that it assaults me with loud stupid full page ads that i can not turn off. How can anyone think that this is acceptable ! ### 1/5 — Adds completely take over the app *2025-06-01, version 1.9.0* Adds completely take over the app, had to delete it after a few minutes. ### 1/5 — The ads are the worst to deal with I’ve ever seen. *2024-10-11* I saw this app recommended by a photographer. I tried it, and I have never seen such obnoxious and persistent ads, none of which pertain to me. They fill the whole screen and play for a long time. Even when they stop running most of the time they don’t close and it is hard to find a way to get them off the screen and see the app. If they have a visible x on screen when I press it the App Store opens to the advertised app. From what I can see of the app you put a lot of work into it and the graphics are great. However, the ads seem designed to force you to buy a subscription in order to use it and not be frustrated. This is so coercive I will not buy it. I set up the alerts. I will read them on my watch but I will not pay for this product just because you made it obnoxious in the free version. I saw a post that said you have no control over the ads. Yet every other app I use in the free version has tolerable levels of advertising material. **Developer response:** I know nobody likes ads but we have to pay the bills, so ads are a necessary evil to keep this free and deliver you free alerts and free data. Our subscriptions are very reasonable priced. The frequency of our full screen ads is pretty low if you don’t use the refresh button (all data on all pages is updated automatically so there’s no need to tap refresh, it’s only there if you see that data got stuck but that’s rarely the case) ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-04-24* Love this app, use it all the time. The live data and satellite imagery are awesome, plus the extensive archive of past data, the access to reports, the detailed explainers and help prompts that explain everything you need to know as a total novice, I really love the depth of information available. The only minor flaws I could see would be the UI/UX, it’s not bad per se but it takes a little getting used to, knowing where everything is and how to navigate, there’s a couple things that don’t behave as you might expect and some text formatting weirdness.
