## What is SPADE Timer?

SPADE Timer is the all-in-one timer for speech & debate, built for judges and competitors who need accurate timing and clear signals without fumbling with a phone mid-round.

FREE EVENT GUIDE
Browse the time limits, grace periods, and key rules for every event: Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, Extemporaneous, Impromptu, Original Oratory, Declamation, Dramatic, Humorous, and Duo Interpretation. Tap "Time this event" to jump straight into the timer.

SPADE TIMER PLUS (subscription)
Unlock every event timer with a free trial:
• Big, glanceable countdowns with grace and over-grace states
• Judge time signals (5-down / 3-down / C / fist) with silent haptics and an optional flash
• Round management for interp & extemp: speaker queues, per-entry time logs, timestamped notes, and drag-to-rank rankings
• Prep/speech split for Impromptu; on-request signal presets; a discreet or bright display for the room
• Current debate topics (LD, PF, Policy, Big Questions, Congress, World Schools), updated every release cycle
• iCloud sync keeps your queues, logs, and notes with you across your devices and through reinstalls

Designed to stay out of the way: silent operation, screen stays awake during a round, and long-press to pause so a stray tap never wipes your time.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
