Also partner will ruin the game. I put an ace diamond card as the first card and the next person put a spade. That would of ended in them getting kicked out in real life. Seems like when the cards are dealt most of the Spades are given to the players with the highest scores. Disgusting!!! ### 1/5 — Not very good AI *2023-07-16* The computer lacks basic bidding intelligence. Will often bid way below what hand actually holds. Regularly bids 2 and gets 5 books. Rarely will combined bids reach more than 10 books. Most common rule games will toss hand in and give everyone their bid points when bud is 10 or less. ### 2/5 — Howard A *2023-05-26, version 2.1.4* The programming for the computer partner is terrible. There needs to be programming that asks whether you have made your bid. Taking bag tricks is not the idea of the game. This is very frustrating and I am therefore deleting your app. ### 3/5 — OK-Not-Great *2023-05-25* A couple of alternate rule options are nice—and more than most Spades apps provide—but can’t outweigh the awkward UI and really baffling computer AI play. For example, I had taken a nil bid, so the priority for my partner was to ensure I made my bid. I had the lead to start the game and played something fairly low and West played a higher card. Great, I was off the hook. My AI partner, however, used their ace of that suit to take the hand. I assumed they only had the ace of that suit and didn’t think twice about it, until a few rounds later they led with a much smaller number of that suit. Like, what? What if I ended up taking that round and we’d lost 100pts? This was far from an isolated incident where the AI misunderstood what our prime goal during a hand is and made a baffling play as a result. So this version of Spades is for casual play only, and even then only if you need one of its rule options. ### 1/5 — Trash *2022-12-01, version 2.1.4* You’re forced to watch some stupid ad after every hand .don’t bother downloading ### 3/5 — 3.
