It keeps political texts and junk messages out of my inbox better than anything else I’ve tried. Every now and then a message slips through, but it’s rare — and when it happens, I just add a new keyword to the list and the filter catches them from then on. The only feature I really wish it had is the ability to add whole “word walls” or large blocks of text instead of entering each keyword one by one. That would make it even easier to stay ahead of spammers who change wording constantly. Overall though, SpamSMS is reliable, simple, and the only app that continuously works without me needing to babysit it. Highly recommended if you’re tired of constant spam texts. ### 5/5 — A truly unique Blocking 5 Star App! *2020-07-12* Am truly Happy with this unique app!! The only feature I would like to see added is the ability to mute notification badges on the message app. I would like to bypass even the junk folder and send messages I filter directly to trash if I wish. I wouldn’t mind the default setting to send to junk folder. I just want the option to send it straight to trash. It would be even better if you could set that option on a keyword by keyword basis. ### 4/5 — Spam msg *2019-04-30* It works the way it’s meant to FYI for those that say it don’t work make sure you turn your sms filter on in phone settings and that’s were they go now I don’t get annoying alerts in the middle of the night they just send straight to spam folder so far so good 🙌 ### 2/5 — Could be good..... *2020-03-10* This could be good if the developer made it more functional: * Make the font smaller or give the ability to customise the input screen * Automatically remove notification numbers instead of letting them build up * Be able to choose to delete spam on arrival There are other things that would make it worthwhile.
