Once you get past that (the grocery store levels) the game just craps a million homing and bouncing projectiles on you. You cannot dodge them all and you can’t even kill half of the enemies with the power level you’re at in this point of the game. Also the boss fights are so uncreative. Only thing is it’s still a little jank and the budget is very low in some places, So work deff needs to be done. And it asks for money constantly ($20 for a level 1 pack is insanely high) I supported the devs with the ad free stuff which wasn’t cheap, but they’re ask a little too often. The gameplay is like the ads, which is good. Overall though, it’s about the quality of old flash games. The gameplay loop is incredibly simplistic with little challenge. Click a level, get random power ups, swipe around the screen for 50 waves if you survive, rinse and repeat. It becomes incredibly grindy and the rewards don’t really get any better as you move forward in levels, and those become very difficult to progress through fairly rapidly. The gear choices are interesting, but ultimately you’ll just choose the best in each category because it is more important to have a large health pool and more damage than a specific gear mechanic. The ads are not overly invasive. There is a forced one after each run, but it doesn’t last long. The real kicker of the game is the price they charge for basically anything, but particularly for the ad-free experience, which is advertised directly after the forced ad. Ad-free is $20. That is too much for ANY game, much less one like this. To summarize, it’s a decent time waster, but not worth spending anything on. The devs need to realize that they are not providing a premium product that can command a premium price. They are providing little better than a carnival game that is worth little more than a dollar or two. ### 3/5 — Archero with guns *2026-01-28* It doesn’t solve the issue of having far to many things to do which ALL affect your stats. You have to spend WAY to much time playing in you want to get anywhere. Game is almost an exact copy of all the others, not enough originality to make it special. Used to be able to open a chest every many hours, now it requires diamonds. However, it has already fallen into the trap that Archero did. They have enough IAPs to make you spend $5,000. It’s just so lame how much monetization this game has already. Not only that, the prices are absurd. An ad after every single run is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is the cost to remove said ads. I’d gladly pay $5 to remove forced ads, but no way in heck am I going to pay $20. Even even more ridiculous is the nag to but said $20 ad removal after every ad in this latest update. I know you guys need to make money, but this is stupid. Keep the $20 ad removal and ditch the forced ads or lower the prices of forced ads removal to $5 and still have ads for rewards like chests and other resources. Why is the grenade or side weapon now dependent on picking it up instead of just automatically being replenished. This is not very advantageous during a fight. All the enemies seem larger now. And the mystery box? All I can say is why? I miss the old game. ### 2/5 — TLDR: Spend or grind *2026-01-27, version 1.5.1* The game is good, the fact that the beginner event can’t be completed without playing 16 hours a day or spending large amounts of money sucks. The game becomes a grind because unless you get lucky you just can’t do enough damage to the mobs.
