## What is Sparebite?

Sparebite is a calorie budget that works like a bank balance.

Every morning you start with a daily budget. Eating spends it. Workouts pay some of it back. The one number that matters is what is left today, and it sits on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

ONE NUMBER, ALWAYS IN VIEW
The widget shows what you can still eat today, the way a banking app shows your balance. No dashboard to read and no macros to decode.

LOG FOOD IN SECONDS
Scan a nutrition label with your camera, search for a food, or type the calories. The label is read on your iPhone. Logging a usual meal again takes one tap.

WORKOUTS EARN CALORIES BACK
Sparebite reads your workouts from Apple Health, so anything that writes there works: Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Polar, Fitbit and more. Watches tend to overestimate, so you choose how much to trust them: 50%, 75% or 100% of what they report. Every credit shows its source and its math.

NO GUILT
Going over is not an error. The number turns a calm amber and tomorrow starts with a fresh budget. There are no streaks to lose and no red days.

HONEST BY DESIGN
• No ads, ever.
• Your health data is never sold.
• No account needed. Sign in only to back up your wallet and use it on the web at sparebite.com.
• Export everything as CSV or JSON, or delete your account from Settings, at any time.

PREMIUM, IF YOU WANT MORE
The wallet, food logging, workout credits and the Home Screen number are free. Premium adds:
• An adaptive budget that learns from your weight trend, offered once a week
• Logging a meal by describing it in your own words
• Unlimited second reads of hard-to-read labels
• The medium widget with what you earned today and quick add
• Your whole history, beyond the last 60 days

Sparebite is a planning tool, not medical advice, and is meant for people aged 16 and over. If you have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating, talk to a professional about your targets.

Sparebite Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: yearly, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers, or monthly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
