## What is SpareCheck?

SpareCheck helps you reuse a spare iPhone as a local monitor for quick visual checks from your everyday phone.

Set one device as Monitor, set another as Controller, scan the pairing code, and start a local check when you need it. The monitor phone can stay in a dark standby mode, show a minimal status dot or clock, and save local manual or motion-triggered clips on the monitor device.

- Spare-phone monitor and everyday-phone controller modes
- QR pairing with stable monitor identity for reconnecting
- Live local check with battery, signal, speed, resolution, latency, and loss status
- Flip camera, flashlight, mute, record, picture-in-picture, and hold-to-talk controls

- Local monitor storage warnings and 30-day motion clip pruning
- First monitor included for free, with Plus for additional monitors and advanced controls

SpareCheck is designed for local convenience checks. It is not an emergency service, professional security system, certified baby monitor, medical device, or guaranteed availability service.

SpareCheck Plus is optional. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
