## What is SPARK Charging?

SPARK Charging is the official EV charging app from Greenman Energy. Get attractive rates at Greenman Energy chargers, charge using 100% renewable energy, and handle all your payments in one place. 

 

Better rates when you use SPARK  

SPARK app and card users get better pricing at Greenman Energy chargers than those using other apps or third-party cards – automatically, every time.  

 

Charge while you shop  

Greenman Energy chargers are located next to supermarkets, so you can top up while you do your shopping – no separate stop needed. 

 

100% renewable energy  

Every Greenman Energy charger runs on green electricity – much of it generated from solar panels on the rooftops of the very locations where you charge. 

 

Find a charger near you  

The live map shows nearby charging stations with real-time availability, connector types, charging speeds, and pricing. Filter results, search by name or location, and get directions straight from the app. 

 

Start a session your way  

Tap to confirm your location and start charging through the app, scan a QR code at the station, or use your SPARK RFID card directly at the charger. Live session data shows your cost, energy used and time – updated throughout your charge. 

 

Your charging card, under your control  

Request a physical SPARK charging card through the app. Activate it, track your sessions, and block it instantly if it's lost or stolen. A virtual card is generated automatically when you register and validate your payment details. 

 

Monthly billing, no fuss  

Link a credit or debit card once. All your charging sessions are billed monthly, with invoices available to view and download in the app. 

 

Notifications that keep you in the loop  

Push notifications for charging started, paused, interrupted, and complete. Toggle notifications on or off in settings – you're in control. 

 

Available in English and German  

The app defaults to your phone's language setting.
