Completely defeats the purpose of the app. Speed dating? Well, I can guarantee you that it will be faster to go through your matches on this app than on any other. Then, one day, I update the app, and they have removed support for phone numbers outside the US and Canada. So basically we’re looking at bigoted devs who sorely need to learn that the world is larger than a couple of countries. On top of all that, the app continuously notifies you of “new matches” despite the absolute lack of matches and inability to login. ### 2/5 — Non- existing customer assistance *2026-01-22, version 37.2.0* When you need help there is none to be found because after following the instructions i realize there is nothing leading to customer help, not even an email!! I’ve gotten two mutual likes so far and one of them was definitely a scammer or bot. The other lives over 1,000 miles away. I ran out of girls to swipe on within two days. Tried emailing support twice with no response. Had to ask Apple for a refund on my membership which I was able to receive. However, it never ended up happening, and the app is no better than any other dating app I have tried. Filter preferences are a joke, and they don't even notify you of any upcoming video chats until AFTER they have already happened. Take it from me: Say "No" to dating apps. ### 1/5 — Made by scammers *2023-12-22, version 29.6.1* I have had very bad encounters with my rep at Filteroff when they made me work for them hinting I would earn money by working with a bar venue that serves drinks by earning drink fees. Now, they don’t do in person paid events. Probably because they don’t know how to make it work. Now, they offer a service of matchmaking for $999 per month for Matchmaker Pro. They describe you will get a personal matchmaker matched with AI, and they highlight only takes ten minutes the setup process with the matchmaker. So you pay almost $1000 a month when it only takes an actual person 10 minutes to setup. And the rest is handled by AI with the app. Besides my hands on experience, would you trust anyone offering a $1000 a month service to people desperate for dates. It is a $1000 a month AI service for consumers not enterprise! ### 2/5 — Typical Dating App Junk *2023-10-18, version 28.2.0* If you want matches from hundreds of miles away despite your preferences being for a local radius, FO is for you. There is hardly anybody local on the app. Events keep getting cancelled due to low turnout. But now they want people to sign up to spend hundreds of dollars per month for the same stale junk. The trial didn’t work. I tried to click subscription to see if the trial code worked and it sent me to the App Store. How often it seems there’s a game going on with this company. On top of that, the profiles are thin.
