Stuck using horizontal with volume buttons accidentally being pushed when resting on a table. Won’t even rotate 180 to opposite side. PITA. ### 2/5 — Looks great, moves not so much *2024-05-18, version 18.0.2* The free graphics and general setup are amazing. Do NOT pay for the 3d graphics As they are totally in distinguishable from each other, and it’s impossible to play. Plus if you email customer service they will completely ignore you or ask you to pay three dollars more for what they offer a free version three dollars is not free. The $5.00 lessons and puzzles do not load properly and they do not finish either. U pay for half the game. It says checkmate, but there is no checkmate happening. How do you learn on watching half a game? Also if I had a dollar for every time the computer moved my Queen to a spot I didn’t choose, I’d be a richer man. ### 1/5 — “Bot Chess” *2024-03-28, version 18.0.2* Do not pay for this junk. I’ve tested numerous times how these sites have completely reverted to (poorly made) bots to pretend they have more people online. If I were to be made aware I was playing a bot, I wouldn’t mind. But this is ridiculous- one day? I win 10 straight easily. The next? I’m fighting for my life by move 20 by extremely punishing ai posing as “human”. I’ve played chess for 20 years and can tell when I’m playing a bot. Elo around 1800 solid (don’t trust chess.com because I’ve tested them too and they’re doing the same thing so checking your elo in any online app is useless in this day in age). Avoid this junk or accept you’re mostly playing against the creators trying to fine tune their bots to appear to be human. ### 1/5 — “Bot chess” *2024-02-19* The recession finally hit this app. Filled with bots to trick you into thinking you don’t know how to play well to get money out of you. It’s so pathetic because I played this app over 10 years ago and the rampant spikes have coincidentally gotten more wild after improved ai hit the market. Truly pathetic. Don’t waste your money on this garbage. If they were to just say they were using bots as real people it would be okay. But as a chess player, I can tell when I’m playing bots. ### 5/5 — The best *2022-10-23, version 16.2.2* Best chess app on the market !!
